That is just pathetic if so. In the past we've had reason to keep a manager in charge until the end. Whilst Ged was on the way out for instances he still managed to get us 4th. Whilst sacking Rafa full stop was crazy, never mind doing it half way through after a season where we came second.

There is NO reason to keep Roy on football grounds or tradition wise.

The only reason I would even contemplate keeping him was if we had a top manager secured for the end of the season and they are reluctant to get a temporary manager in.

Not having a go at you mate, but if that's their thinking, then it's utter bollocks. The 'Liverpool Way' was always, first and foremost, about being the best, about strengthening when we were at the top, and about doing whatever it took to succeed. It's not about being absolutely **** (which we are now) and sitting by letting it get worse.

I hope it's the case, but I don't think it is. I don't think they have identified a new manager. I don't think they have even looked for one. I'm not sure they will be 100% convinced by Roy (how could they be?), but I think they still have the impression that they want to see Roy with his own players in.

The biggest problem with Roy is that everytime there is some serious momentum about him getting the boot, he pulls out a victory of sorts and makes everyone think we are on the way up. I think we have seen enough evidence now to know that any suggestion of an upturn in form will be a false dawn.

The delay will see top players like Torres and Reina leave, it will set us back at least 5 years, but ok. That is fine. We'll be like Blackburn and Stoke, with no hope of ever getting back into the top 4. But there's nothing wrong with that, eh?

I would imagine that nesv have someone lined up. Maybe the problem is that he is not available until the end of the season. They were probably hoping hodgson would have been able to keep us at the top of the table until their man was available. As it stands that plan is a failure so i expect them to act soon.

Already too late. 4th is gone, Torres is going and we've become a joke of a club, midtable ****e, nothing better.

My lack of faith is down to the fact that even IF they do something in the next month or so, they'll still have sat back for too long and allowed us to go to ****.

It's a burning house scenario and NESV have sat by, casually wondering whether or not to call the fire brigade.

They don't have time to wait any more. If they wait then this season is over and our best players will leave. It doesn't matter if they owned the club a few months or 100 years. They must act now to show strength and ambition. Then we may be able to keep players like Torres and Reina.

It is up to them. Act now and show strength and ambition or don't do it and say bye bye to our best players and show weakness.

If they show weakness then we will also get it much more difficult to sign the best players. Show ambition and strength and we have a chance to do that.

i have never said nothing is wrong but you just keep asuming that it wont get worse when they do something. You thought it in the summer so your track record on things cant get worse isnt actually that bright.

You thought the club had lost its identity when they put Standard Chartered on a stand.

i dont know why you cant see that things could get worse and its a possibility.

getting it right is important. and right as quickly as possible however that possibility may be summer.

Season is over already tbh. And we can thank NESV for that. They should have got a new man in when they came in.
