For NESV to make Liverpool competitive again!

    It's not an easy task:

    1. Hodgson needs to leave.

    2. Konchesky, Poulsen bye bye. make a decision about Babel (he's good but he's being wasted here), Jovanovic the same though his talent is less than that of babel.

    3. A great stopper should play alongside Daniel agger. sorry but Carra is too old and Skrtel is not good enough for Lfc. Scout for a left back better than Insua and who can stay fit much more than Aurelio.

    4. Kuyt and Maxi are too slow. keep one for experience, sell the other. Bring a world class winger.

    5. Bring a striker that can be more effective than Ngog away from home, a striker that can replace Torres easily.

    Change that list too:

    1. Bring in a top level CEO - Which they are looking for.

    2. Bring in a top manager. Proven or potential, matters not - Shall judge on September 1st.

    3. Invest in the transfer market - Shall judge on September 1st.

    4. Increase revenues - Which they are attempting to do.

    ---------

Ideally I'd want Roy sacked now. But it is imperative that come September 1st we have the right man in charge.
    Forwards.......

Not that NESV will do anything you suggest (well, there are no contructive suggestions from you). What happens to playing staff is Comolli / incumbent manager's decision.

Instead of criticising what is there, why don't you offer up some constructive advice as to who to replace these people with?

      It's all so vague.
      Oh I don't know.

        .
Such a terrible statement. Agger is always injured yet yet somehow you deem other more reliable (injury wise) defenders surplus to requirements. Great - we may aswell merge this with the Arn's Gerrard thread

          1. Agreed

          2. Yes, Babel to go too, he has talent but absolutely no brain and is that is something we are unlikely to improve that. Jovanovic is new and hasn't played much, he deserves a little time at least

          3. A new centre back is need, but set up correctly our back line shouldn't be as bad as it has been this season. A left back is far more of a necessity.

          4. Maxi and Kuyt are very different players, we'd be better bring in different options on top of those too.

          5. A more experienced striker is needed yes.

Agreed it's not on NESV as to who should stay and who should go. Where they come in is who we can replace people with and how many players we can replace.

As for who to replace players with, I'm sure we could all come up with names, but we don't know how much money we have to spend and as such can make neither a realistic or unrealistic list - as we don't know what is realistic.

Equally, we can all make a list of players to slag off.

                Some constructive arguments...

                Bring Gervinho instead of Kuyt.

                Buy Gary Cahill

                Buy luis suarez

A new world class lb. (at the moment i cannot think of anyone)

                  That's more like it.

                  Write to Mr Comolli.

I would take Suarez there, but that is all.

                        Who knows.

There is a lot of **** to wade through, and it is a full time job for most of us.

We can. What makes it more difficult is we don't know if 442 is the long term formation we will be using on a regular basis.

For instances, I don't rate Kuyt at all in a 442. He just doesn't work either up top or on the wing. But he has proved with Holland and under Rafa he can play on the right in other formations, such as 433 and 4231.

Another example is Lucas. If we went 41212 I wouldn't want Lucas. he is not a high quality DM or AM in my book. But I do rate him as a box2box midfielder.

I think this is one reason I would push the boat out to get my number one choice for manager in NOW, as opposed to waiting until the summer when we'd have sold players and brought others in.
