Would you bring in a manager on a temporary basis until the summer?

I voted to keep him till the summer

I just think it would take 5 - 10 games for the caretaker to undo Roys work, by which point we would be 10 points or so behind where Roy would have managed to get us anyway. Roys had 6 months to get his plans in place - do we write off another month or so of the season whilst a caretaker gets sorted (and all the upheaval associated with that)?

I see it as a case of Roy would give us 5 months of average / mediocre form, whereas a caretaker would give us 2 months of crap form followed by 3 months of good / average form. I think we would end up with marginally more points from Roy than a caretaker.

And thats assuming the caretaker was a success - there's no guarantees unfortunately.

Get rid of Roy NOW, get Kenny in for the rest of the season. If he does a good job and wants to stay on then problem solved, if not go get a proper Manager in the Summer.

          Is the right answer.

We've seen no feel good factor at all in replacing Rafa, and that's because i believe it was a very small minority of players who wanted him gone, we could just have the opposite reaction were we to sack the Bodger, and achieve that feel good factor we need.

Don't really see any advantage in getting rid now. Wait until the summer where the market for players and managers will be much better. And i don't really want Kenny back as an interim because it won't really gain anything and I want to remember him at the very top. Not mid table battles.

That's the sensible option in my opinion.

KK and Thompson as assistant. I don’t blame Sammy for the results since he’s returned to the club, but unfortunately the stats don’t favour him.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                  Get rid. Now!

Bring in Dalglish and Phil Thompson.

If it meant sacking Hodgson, i'd even happily bring in Bender and Perkins.

I don't think that option 2 is a viable option no manager is 100% sure to be a success, otherwise you wouldn't need to sack a manager in the first place.

I voted option one because of this and we need rid of Hodgson.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

This is typical, Hughton gets sacked for doing a good job.

Allardyce gets sacked and, well I'm still laughing.

Roy is dragging us lower and lower and it's pretty obvious he's going nowhere.

                                Football is nuts.
