Get rid of him. I agree with Shaggy. Simply put though, we need to move on.
    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Good bit of agenda-fuelling speculation there.

why do those who think he should move on have to label him a gob****e to do so in this poll.

in fact, why should anyone label him a gob****e? he's a great servant to the club and deserves better than the abuse.

i voted lurrrv anyhow. he needs a pacy partner i think but he's still a quality centre back.

on the abuse front, does anyone else think the personalised abuse of people associated with the club is getting a bit ridiculous on these forums.

carra is labelled a gob****e, hodgson has had things levelled at him that i don't even want to repeat. konchesky looks up for some stick cos of something his mother said.

can we remember that no matter how well people are doing their jobs that they're still human beings at the end of the day. nark over.

Been my fave player for years for his never say die attitude. If other players had shown the same commitment we'd have won a few titles with him in the side. If rumours are true he's a much lesser man than I thought him to be, but liverpool is rumour city.

Playing wise, we should have better cbs than an ageing carra, but we don't. So he should stay first choice until we do.

i agree. everyone is banking on kids with zero experience who are completely untested. or skrtel who i think is erratic. or kyriakos.

it's not that impressive a list of candidates to replace him.

for me agger is the one centre back with quality and experience in him, and while there's only one then for me it's carragher to play.

Alan, I'm sure the players don't read est so I'm sure they're fine. But I'm also sure they understand that when you're up people love you and when you're down people stick the boot in. Less so at Anfield but the element is still their - remember the boos for Lucas? Nicest guy you could meet, never said a bad word and comes from a good family. And he was only a young kid.

Konk is about 30 years old and well versed in the English game, and comes from a family that seems to be biggoted in the extreme. It's not rocket science to figure out he will be in for abuse.

Agger is definitely our best defender. But the whole untested kids thing really irks me. The only way to know if they're good is to test them. Kelly got tested and I think he's quality. Wilson is looking good but maybe a little too early for him. He'd still do 100 times better then bloody skrtel or konchesky. We shouldnt be scared to use kids who supposedly have potential. UTD did it once and still do, should be something we would of learned by now.

Kelly isnt really 'quality' though, is he? He's very promising and looks good so far, but nothing's been proven yet.

Of course the only way to know is to test the kids out, but you carefully pick and choose the games to do this gradually, you dont just ditch the most experienced and proven CB you have, in order to leave yourself with no option other than to chuck the kids in every game

We are not exactly ditching Carra if we give Kelly a chance week in week out until Carra is fit again. If Kelly then been good enough then Carra would have to wait on the bench to get his chance.

He should earn his place and not play just because he is Carra.

I'm sort of in the middle between get rid and only a squad player.

If he's having an adverse effect on morale then off he goes but it's hard to know what's going on behind closed doors isn't it !
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Mate, people are saying Carra should '**** off' etc - doesnt that mean selling him, and him leaving the club?

                            That is up to them.

I would myself sell him because IMO he isn't good enough but that is my opinion.

If Carra was benched then he would probably leave the club so it is more or less the same thing. Can you imagine how much he would moan after three four weeks on the bench? IF he had a hand in sacking Rafa then he would probably do the same if a manager benched him.

If you think that way then benching him isn't an option. Either you play him or sell him.

He's played in quite a few games this season, and in each of them he's been arguably our best defender, and that was up against teams like chelsea. Carragher has been horrid for a while now. Skrtel is a nightmare. Konchesky, no point even bothering with what I think. Only Kelly has been great. I dont understand how all of them get constantly picked and Kelly doesnt. I mean I know, its to do with our retard of a manager, but seriously. wtf. He's playing well, let him keep playing so he can improve now while he's at that age where he will improve faster. It makes no sense to me in NOT playing him.
