It's more a testament to how much standards have slipped that such a ****e footballer can find a place in the team for so long.Last edited by GorbyPeacePrize; 19-12-10, 08:23 PM.

I've just checked and that's simply not true. I admit that the majority of my posts so far have referred to Carragher - as a topic I find it one of the most interesting ones, but I'll try to contribute more throughout the forum.Originally posted by Lee View PostNot being a cunt mate, but it seems a bit strange. You've made 22 posts since you joined last month and every single one has been about Carragher.

Were you holding the mobile phone handset when the alleged 'text' came through?Originally posted by GorbyPeacePrize View PostHe’s a bluenose gob****e that only has his own interests at heart. The “He still hasn’t beaten you, Boss” text sent to Houllier was revelling in the fact that LFC were less successful in terms of trophy numbers under Rafa than Houllier – how can a current Liverpool player revel in that?
He’s not even a legend; plodded around as an average utility man then played centre back along side a true legend (Hypia) with excellent cover in front (Hamman) in a defensive system that made him look a lot better than he really was. No pace, no aerial ability, weak, no footballing ability; he’d stick out like a gigantic sore thumb in any of our great sides.
If not, i dont think you can state with such authority, that it happened and was from Carragher.

It is plausible, but I think it's more plausible that Carragher did send it as it fits in with his general cuntishness, like teabagging Steve Bruce, sucking up to Demento, down-playing the Welsh Midget signing for the Mancs, and his general bluenose attitude.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostOr, it is entirely plausible, that Houllier was making it up.
His relationship with reality is certainly questionable, given his belief that he was the one due credit for the CL win, rather than Houllier.
Carragher is not the 'winner' a lot of people make him out to be, as he is just as happy to be in the team mindlessly hoofing the ball whether we are midtable, fighting relegation or challenging for the title (not that he would know much about that).

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

You come across as an embarrassingly bitter fella. Based on unsubstantiated stuff posted on a forum, by people who generally arent in the position to know. It's absurd really.

Seeing Cahill mentioned I just got to think - how fast is he? Will he bring speed to our defense?Originally posted by Daniel Torres View PostOh definitely, but the point Craig's making is we don't have anyone better at present - which is spot on.
Cahill would be a better bet for a signing to replace. Kelly may well be a long termer, bu he's still not at Carragher's current standard.
Asking because I haven't paid too much attention to his style of play...Another 96.000 reasons to honour Rafa
I just hope someone has a cunning plan
