where i work the talk is all about pace. got to make decisions quicker and i totally agree with that.

the thing that seems to be lost is that the wrong decision made quickly is still the wrong decision. Ironically the best people i have worked with take a little bit longer than the those who make really quick decisions. The difference is that the time is used to make sure that the decision looks to be right. It doesnt mean spend ages and ages etc but in the end the thing that matters is making the right decision over the wrong one.
