honestly I only think we have Gerrard, Torres, Reina, Agger if fit that are clearly good enough for CL footy. Carra one or two seasons more and Meireles looks interesting and are good enough for the top-4 flight as well as Cole given time. I have gotten to the point where I have to say that Johnson is not a good enough RB, if pushed forward he could be well good enough, but in his current position not really a rb for the top-4.

We have some very good first team players and a few good squad players and from there a lot of players that does not provide us the depth needed.

We need someone at the top with a winning mentality. Most of our players are good enough for top 4........You could go through the Scum squad and say half there team is not good enough for top 4.....but they have a winning manager and a winning mentality.


with 3/4 decent signings and a manager with a winning mentality and things will turn round immediately.

Well Meireles is a decent buy from hodgson, but the two others have been quite awfull. But those 3 players of a squad around 30 players, is far from the explanation that we are where we are. The last 1½ season has set us back with a combination of poor ownership and some strange choice of players brought in. Last season we finished seventh, which is mediocre and unfortunatly we are continuing down the path started lasted season right now, with the bulk of the players also there last season.

The new owners have got to stamp out their authority now, their honeymoon period is over. This lack of direction & leadership (though I'm sure they are very active in the background) is like they are carrying on with this legacy from last season. Talks of infighting, bust ups etcs clearly shows there's something rotten at the top which needs sorted out and it's only their responsibility to do so.

Figures such as Purslow & al shouldn't be allowed near the club or near the players for the forseeable future, it seems it's an element which is seriously undermining the club with their links to the media etc ... The owners must act.

true, the stability is far from there yet, and the results on the pitch have clearly set a spark to reignite the fire behind the scenes. Leaderhip is needed, and hodgson isen't showing any, only a couple of players are showing the will to take some responsibility so it's more or less up to the owners to set a record straight here - and sooner rather than later!

I think the Roy hate is becoming unbearable

While I don't want him at LFC and the sooner he is replaced by either Kenny Dalglish or Rafa the better. The thing is though, Roy is under more pressure than any other manager in the premier league, he's also had a massive task in taking on the Liverpool side we now have and doing something with it in a very short space of time, we all knew this season was going to be similar to that of last season. He can't feel comfortable in the situation he is in and I know he will be gone if we fail to beat Man United on Sunday. I think we all have to be patient though, kicking out Roy is easy enough but who do you replace him with? and if they finish the season/ start next season poorly are we going to throw hate at them too?

Sometimes I think being a Liverpool supporter really means just that, yet so many fans are hating something about the club, be it the manager, the players or even Steven Gerrard, despite the fact he's the best footballer this club has seen in years. The Rafa hate was bad enough, now the Roy hate, why can't we all just be nice. Instead of '**** off Roy you cunt' can't we all just be like 'Roy would you please resign' or 'NESV, get us a new manager'.

Despite some of Roys rubbish press comments he's not a terrible man, he doesn't deserve the hate he's getting, he has just been thrown in the deep end and drowned. Now we have a dead man fish floating upside down in a pool managing our club. It's clearly not working for us but the thing is, it's not working for him either. He doesn't have the time or the support to do anything with our Liverpool side at the moment.

Anyway. Bring back Kenny FFS, so when haters gunna hate, I'm gunna kill them mutha fukkers.

They need to do the guy a favour and put him out of his misery. He's clearly not going to resign if thats what they are hoping for. He's a ****ing mess and he needs relieved of his duties.

I'm close to giving up on Glen Johnson now.

I've tried to defend him for as long as possible, but his positioning is just pathetic. It was the same under Rafa too, so it's not just Roy's fault.

The guy has HUGE potential, I was hoping he might learn to defend, and go the way of Ashley Cole, but to be honest I'm close to writing him off as a lost cause all together now. He just doesn't seem to have the brains to defend properly.

Overhaul talk is well over the top.

Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Agger, Lucas, Gerrard, Meireles, Kuyt, Cole, Torres are all plenty good enough. We have the bulk of a very good team, just need someone who knows how to utilise them and get the best from them.

The manager is one of the problems, it's clear there's more than that. It doesn't help that our current manager isn't capable of devising a 5 year strategy for the club let alone plan for his teams to be prepared to win (the appointment of Comolli, arguably indicates he's the one responsible for this - the former- as it was clearly lacking). In my opinion, there's also a strong element from the old regime which is seriously undermining us. Can't put my finger on it though, might be Purslow & his clique, but this constant sniping at a section of LFC fans by the media is sickening.

I'm not saying it's satisfactory I'm saying that it's the minimum we should expect.

Rafa finished 7th last season and was sacked, obviously this suggests that he wasn't getting enough out of the team and we expected an improvement. We brought in a new manager who was supposed to get the best out of the players, if we didn't expect to do better this season than last what was the point in changing manager?

The reality is that there are between 3 and 5 clubs with better squads than us and 14 with worse squads, if we punch our weight we should finish no lower than 6th maybe higher, (obviously we should aim higher) but we are a few players short of a title challenge.

agreed, the current top-5 teams have better squads than us right now, and I honestly think 6 is the best we can do with what we have to work with now, that hodgson somehow manages to double the number in the table is just incredible, and a change is needed asap and then a build up of our squad strenght.
