If Kenny wanted to go all out attack he Could easily play a formation to include Joe Cole into the team 4-1-3-1-1 against certain teams

      Johnson***** Skrtel**** Agger****** Aurelio

      ***************Lucas

      Kuyt/ Babel*******Raul**********Joe Cole

      ***********Gerrard

      ****************Torres

Shame we've not got Aquilani would have him instead of Raul
      Just go Gung-ho when needed

"Liverpool misfit Ryan Babel is expected to be sidelined for 2-3 weeks as returning Anfield supremo Kenny Dalglish has ordered medical staff to give him a brain transplant as a matter of urgency. Insiders say the removal of the Dutch's present brain shouldn't be too problematic as it is mainly composed of water and the sim card from a mobile phone that got lodged in his ear during his initial confusion with his twitter account."

            N'Zogbia indeed

That's like saying today's equivalent to Souness, is Joey ****ing Barton.
As if we're going to be able to buy the likes of Ronaldo and Messi. But I think we're in agreement that type of winger with speed to turn a defense is needed.

Its a question of who is available and affordable?

Not really sure where to put this, so here'll do

              Tony Barrett:
Dalglish will definitely give the younger players a chance and don't be surprised if he fast tracks a couple of kids from the academy because he is well aware of the talent that is emerging there. I can't see Poulsen or Konchesky being Liverpool players come the start of the next season, the only surprise is that someone ever thought they were.

I think Kenny bringing on Shelvey at old trafford pretty much lets us know the youngsters will be getting their chance. Great to see and all.

Hopefully Kenny's influence and guidance will kick start Pacheco's career and he can become the player we all hoped.

I would be very happy if Suso, Adorjan and Flanagan got a chance.

with respect im not sure kelly apart if any of them are ready to make an impact on the first team squad just yet.

Shelvey has a lot to do before he can justify his selection in the first Xl. Pacheco hasnt taken any of the chances given to him up till now and suso has to set on fire the reserve team before can be given a chance at a higher level.

I think 2 years from now the basis of a very very good team is already there. flanagan, robinson, kelly, wilson, wisdom (not sure about sama) will hopefully ready for some sort of first team action. Add that to skrtel, insua, johnson, agger and you've got the basis for a very solid and exciting defence

Add lucas, shelvey, coady (i like this player very much), roberts, pacheco, suso, sterling, silva, amoo, adorjan (very good vision) to the midfield.

Then torres (more in hope than expectation really), ngog, ngoo, adam morgan (good finisher)

Thats almost 25 players just there. They wont all make it but every so often a golden generation come through that clubs build legacies on. I think the current academy lot are that golden generation that will take us back to the top.

IF that's the case, then IMO Rafa Benitez deserves some credit for that.
                        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I cant really remember having an opportunity with first teamers though?
I would much prefer to see him coming on after we are a couple of goals up for the last 30mins of a game.

Rafa deserves a huge amount of credit for the youngsters and the back room staff he has brought in.

Unlike so many other managers out there, like the Redknapps of this world he focused on a long term solution.

Rafa definitely has left a brilliant youth set up. One that could well go on to be his legacy.
