It's incredibly frustrating that they are, because I don't think they are that good a team, they're there because every one else is having a crap season, and I fear this is the United side that will steal our recordOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostThis is a key point for me. They're top of the league, and we reduced them to THAT. **** all really.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

after a couple of days of being told what it means to play for Liverpool, and how they are expected to play for Liverpool from the one man on earth that nobody could dispute with, we will go there and batter them. Simple asOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostWell it's early days of course, but in difficult circumstances, and with zero time to get his imprint on the side, there was an infinite improvement.
Based on that, i see no reason why he couldnt do it permanently.
See what happens at Blackpool on wednesday night though.

There's nothing we can do about that now, unfortunately. Other than hope one of the others finds some kind of consistency.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostIt's incredibly frustrating that they are, because I don't think they are that good a team, they're there because every one else is having a crap season, and I fear this is the United side that will steal our record
All we can do is build towards creating a new LFC, to rival them and knock THEM off the perch. Today was day one in that process.
If John Henry is true to his word, we'll get there.

That's the toughie , Fresh legs needed after today but not a big sqaud , but on the other hand we should be going there to win now but that's for another thread I supposeOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostWell it's early days of course, but in difficult circumstances, and with zero time to get his imprint on the side, there was an infinite improvement.

Nice to hear our manager question obvious wrongs in public. We should,as a club, compile a dossier of all the **** ups Webb has been responsible for in our big games and send it to the FA.
Its a ****ing joke he still ref's our games and the club says **** all about it.Slur got ref's ****ed off in the past, why shouldnt weLast edited by G; 09-01-11, 09:22 PM.

Think it's pretty much nailed on myself, knowing how absolutely jammy they are, and having certain things go their way...all go to add to the odds of them winning it i'm afraid.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostIt's incredibly frustrating that they are, because I don't think they are that good a team, they're there because every one else is having a crap season, and I fear this is the United side that will steal our record
Once it's done, it's up to us to take it back and not let them get a lead, that's the challenge going forward for this club and all who sail in her.

But no matter what Kenny's credentials are, i think it's folly to assume all the ****e will turn to gold overnight. And even after he's had adequate time at the helm, every team will have its off days.
I would be looking for a win Wednesday night, to add further weight to the feeling that Kenny is now here and this is HIS team. 1 away win out of 1 in the league, would be a nice change from how away games were before Kenny came back.

I don't think they will. They still need to play us, spurs, gunners and Chelsea away and Cityh also got stronger with Dzeko so I am not so sure they will take our record.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostIt's incredibly frustrating that they are, because I don't think they are that good a team, they're there because every one else is having a crap season, and I fear this is the United side that will steal our record

United still have to play away to:
Spurs
Chelsea
Liverpool
Arsenal
Their Arsenal away game isnt until April 30th though - it's crucial that Arsenal still have something important to play for by then, otherwise it'll turn into a dead rubber. The week after, Chelsea go to Old Trafford - by which point, their title challenge will have well and truly ended
But given the mancs away record, i dont think they can be counting their chickens.
The other contenders have far easier away games to come.
