100% better football than the last 7 months. Webb is still a ****e referee, would have loved at least a draw for Kenny. Onwards and upwards.

        1. In the biiger picture the result doestn't matter. Many refs would give the red for that tackle and it wont be the last pen the Gypo wins by cheating so we move on.

        2. The defence looks so much better now, more fluidity and playing the ball out from defence is a joy to watch.

        3. Babbel offers more than Maxi and should start.

        4. Torres needs help, either an arm around his shoulder or a good knocking out, to wake him up. Something has to be done, his head does not seem right.

        5. Gerrard needs a good ****ing for that tackle, it was a red.

        6. Lucas Rocks, played awesome today.

CAnt remember ever coming away from a ManUre defeat feeling good about it.

We even played little triangles n stuff.

IF we can put that sort of effort for the rest of the season, we may even get ourselves into a top 5 position, and another year of Uefa Cup football. Things are on the up lads.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Very happy with the effort and general play. Shocking penalty decision, but the red card for SG was a fair decision and for the record, a much worse tackly than Rafael's who hardly left the ground and was standing by the time Raul pussied out of the tackle.

Lusas wasn't bad today but I saw on at least 3 occasions when he'd been given the ball he fell asleep and was robbed. Needs to get that sorted.

Very positive performance...i never like to see us lose vs the Mancs but at least today we showed some fight & determination.
It was also good to see players playing in their correct positions

I agree with all except point 3. Babel had one good run but nothing else, Maxi played reasonably well today.

                    Webb lost us this game.

Every Liverpool player apart from Meireles put in heroic performances and they can go away with their heads held high. Pride has been restored.

Don't like to single out individuals but Martin Kelly was superb, surely now he keeps his place in the side. Also impressed with the partnership of Skrtel and Agger, Aurelio makes a calming presence to our defence as well. The whole defence looked solid, very encouraging considering how much of a shambles we've been in that department this season.

In midfield, Gerrard and Lucas were bossing things before Gerrard got sent off. Crisp passing and good invention, Meireles wasn't at the races. Maxi was neat and tidy and worked hard but ran out of steam and was rightly taken off. Kuyt was hit and miss but never went missing which and kept battling away despite us being down to 10.

Torres had little to work with but could have had a goal in the first half.

                    Onwards and upwards.

There was more fight in that display today than i can remember for a long time. Kenny will make the difference and we can say goodbye to the terrible displays we have witnessed under Bodge. Martin Kelly is our no 1 RB.

Babel falling over when Shelvey did excellently to win the ball sums him up. Maxi had another good game. He's been one of the more consistent members of the squad this year.

Too right he doesn't - he's Kenny Dalglish. Torres is just Torres, could be great but isn't yet. Just what the team needs right now.

In fairness to Meireless it looked as if Rafael was going in with a two footed lunge, I don't call that being a pussy I call that being smart.
