This defeat under Kenny feels better than any win under Hodgson.

As for the red card watch it again and Webb isn't even looking in the direction of the ball, he has to have had advice from the 4th official and the tackle looks worse from all different angles on the tv, in real time it was a yellow
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

i think a good GK coach is a must. only have to look at how crap our keepers were under corrigan. Also how Pepe has been effected by bad coaching.

      hopefully that will improve.

A spirited performance, the game was spoilt by the penalty kick (4 pens awarded in 6 games now for Utd and Webb).

Whilst we had spells of possession, Utd were hardly troubled at all besides the Aurelio free kick. Torres had another bad game, but good to see Kenny bring him off. Nice to see no Konchesky or Poulsen. Worrying to see Meireles out on the wing again and Gerrard back in the middle, but Dalglish cannot change this as this is how they've been playing for the last 6 months. Hopefully we see a new formation and more attacking football in the next game.

          Hmm.

Would be suprised if they went about giving full time contracts out though if KD is seen as a temporary appointment.

If we get a new manager in they'd once again want their own people in. It helps I guess that Valero is out of work though and would require no compensation, but there's always the danger that Rafa gets a job before the end of the season and offers Valero a full time contract elsewhere.
          Forwards.......

Rumours are Rafa is taking at least 6 months out

Just figured out who this guy is, isn't he the current reserve team coach for Gkp's?

                  EDIT: Yes he is.

He did end up on the other side of Kuyt a couple of times, but only to cover.

That would be quite handy in the circumstances.

I'd take Valero in a shot, as well as Paco Ayesteran.

                          ?

Lucas and Gerrard in the middle, Raul out wide? Might have changed once Gerrard was off, but thats how it started?

No, Raul just ended up on the right a couple of times to cover when Kuyt came inside.
