I'll reiterate, Kenny has only been here 5 days and is without SG. In time. you knee jerkers......

Just one other thing, referees are definitely biased against us - there's something going on. The kid who was reffing tonight made two glaringly obvious and crucial mistakes which cost us the game.

Roy needed more than 5 days as well, all managers do...

Roy clearly wasn't the man for the job and that stood well clear after 6 months in charge, and it's a good thing we have gotten rid of him. Now we just need to get rid of the kneejerk reaction of anyone saying anything that can be interpreted as a defense of our former manager...

I'm not twisting anything, that's basically what your post was doing. And it's ridiculous, as you know - hence why you're now backtracking.

I wonder if Kenny picked that team with the derby in mind on the weekend. I doubt that tonights line up will look Saturdays. I didn't like the team sheet but when we went 1-0 up I was thinking that it may end up being an inspired selection. Defence let us down and if we held on to our lead a little longer we may have gotten another with Blackpool trying to equalise.

On another matter Torres is getting better and better each match. I still think this was a better performance then the one where we played them at Anfield.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Ok, so 63 days and 5 days are similar durations then?

In fact, let's cut to the chase. Many didnt want Roy from day one.

Do you not want Kenny then? Are you saying you think Kenny is no better a manager than Roy?

If not, what exactly are you trying to say? Cos it's somewhat ambiguous.

We'll see what the reaction is in a few months then.

                      No double standards i hope.

If you're suggesting the reactions should be the same, you're delusional.

Kenny Dalglish has won league titles, FA Cups, doubles and more, for LFC. As a player and a manager.

On what grounds do you think he and Roy Hodgson should be treated the same, FFS?

Maybe do some reading up on our history mate.

Kenny has until May to turn it around, lets pray he does. Just unfortunate him coming in at a time where things are so perilous (thanks Roy) with zero margin for error, poor squad and the lack of options in the January market.

                          Difficult much

and the stuff he went through off the park regarding Hillsborough.

Both need to be judged the same as Managers though, not the past.

If Kenny picks a **** team like he did tonight, then he should be criticised just as Hodgson was.

Don't tell me to read up on the history of the club chap, i know all about it already. More importantly it has nothing to do with the point i'm making.

The Tangerines made it a Premier League double over the Reds thanks to a 2-1 triumph at Bloomfield Road, although Fernando Torres had given the away side an early lead.

Gary Taylor-Fletcher and DJ Campbell turned the tie on its head, and Liverpool slumped to another disappointing result.

Dalglish praised the effort and commitment of his players after the full-time whistle, but wants more confidence in the ranks
                                .

"You can see that their effort and commitment, desire and pride is there from all of them," he told Sky Sports.

"Sometimes it doesn't matter how good a player you are, if you don't have the belief in yourself then it's not going to be helpful towards you.

"We've got to work hard and we'll give them a little bit of belief and confidence.

"They have been really encouraging, the way they've gone about their work.

"I think the players here are very good players but they just have to believe in what they're doing and believe in themselves more."

On the game itself, Dalglish remarked: "We passed it well up to a point, the final pass that we made wasn't as good as the boys are capable of.
                                Confidence

"We'll work away and try to develop that - give them the confidence they need to produce more positive results.

"Certainly their first goal we were a good touch and a pass away from running the ball into the back of the net. And the second one was a corner that's come back in and we've not been concentrating.

"We should have been picking up better than we were. There's a lot of things that we'd like to work on."

It is unknown if Dalglish will have the chance to make changes to his squad in the January transfer window and he admits he has not yet spoken to the club's owners about possible comings and goings.

"I'm sure they'll improve but whether there's going to be any players coming in or moving around I don't know," he added.

"I can always make a request, it might not always be accepted. I've never breached the subject with money being available with the owners.

"If there is the possibility of brining somebody in we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

"At the moment I've not asked for anybody and I've not enquired for finances."

It's made me quite emotinal reading that, it's hit me now how important Dalglish is to this club. His positive frame of mind and mentality has been missing from Liverpool football club for too long.

I don't think we can underestimate his return, it will in time galavanise the entire club.

It's time we all pulled together now. As a club we've had to endure a painful few years but thankfully they are at an end and we can now look to the future and move forward.

Let's hope the King can bring the best out of everyone and we will soon start seeing more positive performances from all.

Starting on Sunday against the blue****e!!
