Personally, I'm not sure. I think he probably did better during his time here than Konchesky has. Whether he is any better now, I guess we can afford to find out from a simple loan move.

I agree it would be ok to have on loan. He is a "steady eddie" type of player unlike "calimity jane" konk

there pretty much of a much for me - this LB position is a ****ing problem.

I really can't remember the last player there that actually was a top player.

If the only source reporting this is the Daily Mail then I think we can safely ignore it.

Yeah, on loan, it's very low risk and cant see it doing much harm. If he's backup, Aurelio can play. If Aurelio is out, we HAVE to put someone there, and i'd rather it was Warnock than Konchesky.

When it comes to playing konk, I would rather field a team with only 10 men

He could also be an option for midfield. I wouldn't be against him coming in but he would hardly be an inspiring signing.

If better then Konchesky is the benchmark then I'm getting my boots out.

Well it pretty much is the benchmark until or unless we can afford to spend a fair amount of money to fill the gap. I'd sooner we ploughed our funds into other areas first.

                        Ad in the Liverpool Echo...
'left footed and think you're better than Paul ****ing Konchesky??? then why not come down to Melwood for a trial with a view to a move to Liverpool'

He also knows what it means to play for Liverpool, so is less likely to get the stage fright Konk does. Better backup than Konk for Aurelio.

well better than pfk but not good enough.

should be doing better. if we need back up to Aurellio (or the way i view it, someone who will play most games as Aurellio tends not to be fit) then it needs to be better than Warnock.
