...always worked in the past...Originally posted by MrMichaelBest way to answer the; keep playing like we did today. That'll shut the ***** up
I'm sure there's a lot going on - investment, stadium, SG and his 'issues,' Rafa's rotation, blah, blah, blah....
...couple more results like this and every press leech will feck off and start scumsucking elsewhere. Guaranteed.

There's a surprise. Stevie has a few off games and the team plays poorly and all of a sudden he's havng rows with Rafa and wants to leave.
If there had been a serious argument it would have been all over the press all week like when Fergie hit Beckham in the face with a boot.Last edited by kurtangle01; 28-10-06, 11:11 PM.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

Gerrards Rafa rift is the headline on the back page of the Mirror and the People say that Real will bid £32,000,000 for Gerrard while another paper, the NOTW I think, says that they'll bid £30,000,000. And finally the Sunday express say Gerrard faces Anfiled exit.
It's starting again and the only thing that will stop it is if he signs a new cotract IMHO.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

Yes he has but at the end of this season he will have 2 years left and in the modern game, with the Bosman ruling, that is normally the time when you try and negotiate a new one. If he never signed one at the end of this season we could have another Owen situation on our hands.Originally posted by kopdanhas he not just done that though?
I think Gerrards future is safe.
One things for sure we have to put these rumors to rest A.S.A.P. If we don't we'll end up with yet another 18 months of speculation about his future and we've seen in the past how disruptive that can be.
I'm dissapointed that we seem to go through this all the time and I'm begining to wonder if it would be best for all concerned if Stevie moved on.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

but then where does it stop
Once Gerrard is gone, who becomes the next target? Rafa..Alonso?
I believe there are problems at Anfield BUT I think the media are loving it because they can big it up and sell many papers.
Gerrard is going nowhere, its Rafa I am concerned about."What's your favourite Beatles album then?"
"I think I'd have to say....Best of the Beatles"

That's pretty accurate. I think that only 1 paper never had something on the back page about Stevie. No smoke without fire or a continuation of the flack that's been coming our way in the press?Originally posted by ChrisPeople on other forums are saying nearly every back page (Done on Sky sports news) had headlines about Real Madrid wanting him and stuff about a rift with RafaBabel fanclub member # 4!!!

grow up feller. of course real want him, every big club on earth wants him.Originally posted by ChrisPeople on other forums are saying nearly every back page (Done on Sky sports news) had headlines about Real Madrid wanting him and stuff about a rift with Rafa
As for the rift with rafa, it wouldnt surprise me, as steve has always come across to me as a spoilt little ****er that loves himself. HOWEVER, does it matter wether him and rafa get on or not? as long as they are both doing there jobs properly I think not.
Just ignore whatever ****e the papers print, ive seen it all before, and it is just designed to cause a bit of aggro over nothing for LFC

Whatever it is mate its ****ing doing my head in. I'd love to find out the full story, whether there is a problem or someone has an agenda against the club and is pulling out all the stops to **** us over but we'll probably never know.Originally posted by kurtangle01That's pretty accurate.
