Towards the end - about comparing US and English rivalries - he ducks the question. But I would wager that he has never been called whatever he was called (when visiting old toilet) in the US.

      Ta Brian! Top lurking.

Humble and graceful. He says it: "We have the right skill set, the perfect skill set for this club."

Really impressed with how he speaks about needing to change the style of football we were playing (from Hodgson's style) and how we needed to change it to a more positive style. Obviously he's been told about 'pass and move' but i genuinely feel he would've been able to see and identify for himself, that the way we were playing, and the style of play, under hodgson, wasnt right. For someone who didnt previously know anything about football, that's pleasing to see.

He has also clearly read up on our past, and learnt about Hillsborough too, which he deserves huge credit for. In essence, as an owner, he didnt *need* to do his research, he obviously did it because he does genuinely care.

I'm under no illusion that they are here to make money, but they recognise that the club needs to be successful at the highest level, to do that, which is great to know.

Although he really needs to stop calling us a 'franchise'

Ah - not the end of the world -

He sees it as "...a term for a team in professional sports league organization"

So long as he pays the bills...

well the results certainly seemed to point to the fact that our football stank ass.

also, i'm assuming you are under no illusions that they aren't here to make money. pleasing thing is the only way they'll ever make any is if they decide to sell in the future. never in dividends.

LDH, I've never been to a Seder and it wouldn't surprise me if the majority of the forum hasn't a clue what goes on in one

I figured it would be something like that but I'm afraid my limited knowledge of Seders comes from Larry David

As for the interview, the guy really does say all the right stuff. So far, does pretty much all the right stuff too. The cynic might say he's only so up to speed on our history etc so he can get the PR bang on as he does here, but in all honesty anyone judging his intent would be engaging in little better than guesswork and I'm just happy that level of interest is there whatever the reason behind it; I figure you can't not love the club if you immerse yourself into it that way.
