When I was younger it was Macca, until he stitched us up.

But my favourite all time obscure player was Biscan. Man was a legend. Always welcome back.
      *Except Michael, who died.

Of current players that have said goodbye to the squad would be Sami and the Kaiser, both fantastic players, and especially the later an unsong hero of his time. I also liked Garcia although he also at times frustrated the hell out of me.

In the current squad I would say Reina and Agger are my favorites (assuming Gerrard and Carra are amongst the obvious).

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

total snap. used to love macca (even though he still an everton prick) but igor biscan the player i hated to love - he was terrible at times but sublime at others. bring him back now.

obviously i also like ste gerard and i think its safe to assume i'm a babel fanatic, but the other player who needs a mention would have to be didi hamann - loved the guy.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

The one player when watching older clips of LFC that I really wish I could have seen now a days is Steve Highway, he looks like a crack of a player and one outside the obvious .

Funny innit, nobody has mentioned Souness, Whelan, Hansen, Lawro, Keegan, Fairclough...

Too long ago for this generation? They are for me really.

I said Barnes before but he's apparently too obvious. In that case - Peter Beardsley.
