That result was always on the cards. You simply cannot get away with playing two zero paced wide men.

We were flat a bit, Wigan played very well. We should have won nonetheless, liked our last 15 minutes and us piling on pressure on them. We're definitely a different proposition now. Suarez, what a signing. His movement is fantastic.
            Are we winning?

i think we were outdone in midfield. their lads had too much for lucas and aurelio.

we desperately need someone out wide who has any threat because kuyt and maxi were **** again. I'd even have nzogbia on our left hand side.

its a real letdown. im desperately disappointed.

                  Players not communicating today.

                  Goals too small.

                  Theirs was offside...

Season over. Back to reality, and the reality is that our squad is seriously lacking.

Jovanovic' performance has to be one of the worst I've seen from a substitute. He literally looked a headless chicken. Take a chicken, now chop her head off, and let her run. That sight epitomizes Milan Jovanovic.

I agree that it was disappointing today, probably deserved to win it, but there was far to little in the final third today.

Suarez looked good and I'm still excited that we got him.

Kuyt was **** up front (again) today. He is just not good enough for a small quick passing game.

I missed Agger to take the ball forward from the back.

Which makes it all the more puzzling why we didn't go for N'Zogbia in January

Someone that can take players on, that can stretch the play, that can carry the ball. Bloody hell it's not rocket science.

Disappointed we lost two points but I think the friendlies in midweek contributed to breaking our rhythm. Our football at times was really good, so apart from the **** result, I'm really hopeful we're on the right track. As for a CL place, that might be too much an ask.

might be because they wanted stupid money.
