    I remember having many arguments about Aquilani, it was near identical to the arguments defending Keita. All I remember about him as a person is that he was cockeyed as ****.

      He was useless. I’m rarely so critical of players but he was dreadful and made to look all the worse because he was replacing true class in Alonso. He couldn’t do anything right and, on the rare occasions he made any effort, he looked like he was running in treacle. Worse than BSC and Carroll for me as we knew what we were in for with those two, broadly speaking. Nightmare of a signing.
      It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

        Benteke cant have been in the mix of this conversation because we essentially got most of our cash back and his fee from Palace essentially paid for Mane.

        That kind of **** has to come into it.

        On that basis, Keita is up there. Cost 50m, was injured for most of his time here, ****ed up a good chance in the cl final to equalise (and we'd have gone on and lifted #7 ffs) and then ****ed off on a free.

          simple logic, fee, wages and the fact he was a total windbag. All about value for money, it's what every signing should be based on. Forgot about that chance too

            I’m sure he will for ever bore his grandchildren with stories of his pivotal part in our success.

              He truly was ****ing dire, but I love that he's remembered for that miss and not the outrageous bicycle kick against the Mancs

                  The miss is even more remarkable imo. He could score at so many moments on the break and waits until literally the one where he can’t.
