I would like us to play in the Europa League like somebody else said we could do the same as this season and play our young lads in these games. Valuable experience and maybe the chance to see more lads getting starts like Coady, maybe even Suso or Sterling. Would be interesting to me.

People have to remember the co-efficient rankings as well for Europe. Not being in Europe seriously hampers our chances of getting a good draw next time round in the CL.
      Forwards.......

Next time round we'll be better than Barca.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The problem is, we DIDNT just play our young players in the europa cup.

Prime example was West Ham away this season - we played on a sunday after a europa game the thursday before and the problem we had was that the europa game had been a 2nd leg - and we hadnt done the business in the 1st leg, so we had to play a strong XI for the 2nd leg to get through.

And then, europa game on the thursday, day off friday, travel down to london on the saturday, game on the sunday - we had **** all preparation time for the west ham game, and we lost convincingly.

I dont want this ****e next season.

Well if Dalglish thinks we should be playing in Europe regardless of what cup, that's good enough for me. More squad depth is needed to help deal with that and the league. If we want to be constant top 4 team then we need to handle the pressure that comes with more matches. Man Utd seem to be able to so why not us?

I do hate the whole Thurs, Sunday thing though. As a fan, nothing beats a 3pm Saturday game imo.

Well 4th has gone, but we can (and will) finish 5th!

The more games the better next year.

I think we beat Spurs we'll finish 5th.

Not a complete disaster of a season if we manage that.

We could infact be 5th in a few days if we beat newcastle and spurs lose away to chelsea.

I hope that Torres lad bags a hattrick in that game

I hope he goes scoreless and starts a new streak but Chavs still win anyways.

Why? I don't think it makes a difference.

It made a difference at WHU away this season.

Because Saturday has always been a better day for football and Sunday's a bit of a depressing day, hard for fans to get up for it(maybe players too).

It's just a pain in the backside imo.

The 3pm saturday kickoffs are a ******* to watch though, arent they? In terms of not being on tv.
