Team selection will be interesting.

But tonight's game is the key one, we really need Spurs to step up to the plate, as City will see this as a golden chance to put it all to bed before the pressure really gets piled on. Tevez will be on the bench tonight.

I think City will play as strong as team as possible tonight. Win this and CL is assured, thats the one they want.

City showed against Everton they're either dreaming of Wembley or a hot beach somewhere.

As soon as Everton started putting their foot in City bottled it. I fully expect Spurs to start in sn aggressive manner and in reality it could all come down to who gets the first goal.

I wouldn't expect City to blow a lead at home, even though Spurs have showed they fight to the very end this season.

Essentially we need Man City to do this

This is a massive game for Spurs they still believe that they can make the Champions League but they have to win this game so they should be up for it. This isn't a must win game for City they only need 3 points from 3 games and have cup final coming up, so might not be fully focused on this game. There is definately a chance...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We shouldn't. What about a home draw with Wigan?

You get results like that over a season, the trouble is Kenny hasn't had a season to even them out.

Oh well looks like the Europa for next season, credit to Kenny though for even having us into contention for 4th!

Its not the champions league, but still a great trophy to win.

Well as expected City were elsewhere in mind tonight. They didn't turn up and Spurs should have done better with all the play they had. They reminded me of Liverpool against the lower sides under Ged and Rafa at times, all the play but created next to zero clear cut chances.

So 4th is gone. But 5th is very much on. Only two draws needed now, or beat Spurs at Anfield and that's it put to bed.

God I hope we play most of our reserves (Ayala, Wilson, Suso, Sterling, Silva, Ngoo, Coady) in the easier legs of the Europa ties. This could really push our youngsters on to great things in years to come.

Mix them in with senior pros on the fringes and it makes sense.

You need a mixture of youth and experience

Sorry yes that's what I meant, obviously not play the whole reserves side in one sitting. But play at least half the team from reserves (the good ones at least) mixed in with say someone like Carroll, Maxi, Gerrard occasionally.
