Those Forbes valuations are pure guesswork. They're clearly ignoring debt for a start (the Mancs valuation is fair until you consider the half billion of debt they have, for example).

Well I am no financial expert but I am pretty sure that if we went on the open market now, with no debt and £50million just invested in two strikers whose value shouldnt decrease to much in the next few years we would be worth more than the forbes valuation

A) we are far bigger than Chelsea in shirt sales
B) not sure he will now........

am always sceptical about a player making his fee in shirt sales alone. one reason being that some of those torres chav shirts would have been sold as chav drogba shirts etc anyway its the increase in shirt sales rather than just shirts sold with torres on the back

My guess, guess being the operative word about the same as we were last year. Its bolllocks we have dropped 200m just from droppping out the CL. Lost masher yes...but the torres sale has been balanced out by suarez and carroll in fact with age taken into consideration we should be worth more from that transaction looking at it now.
