We had no problems scoring goals last season under Kenny with a front four of Maxi, Suarez, Kuyt and Meireles. So what's the difference between this season and last ? It's the personnel and tactics clearly. Or do you think our poor finishing is all down to bad luck ?
Tactics have been the same, don't we've changed anything. Of course we've had to accommodate new players which implies some tweaking and bedding in, which disrupted our flow.

We didn't have a great transfer window that's for sure but we have been terribly unlucky in the league.

We've made progress cos we've been competing in the other two trophies we've been in.

We should give Kenny another year.
    Are we winning?

I wouldn't be against that but my major concern would be the summer transfer window. To improve in the league next season we have to get it right regarding transfers. If Kenny and the scouts have learnt from the mistakes made over the last 18 months then maybe Kenny should be given another season. We'll see.

Well, i think we've been very unlucky in front of goal, our play has generally been consistently good, with lots of fluent passing moves leading to goal scoring chances. ( some **** performances thrown in obviously, but what side hasn't.)

Defence has been solid for the most, as tight as the top sides more or less as far as conceding goals go's.

Imo, with some new faces in the right areas, we'll be set for a decent season. (especially if it can be kept distraction free, give or take a film crew here and there. )

We don't create that type of chance anyway near enough.

I don't think anyone has been having a go at Suarez?

I was one of those saying that we should consider selling. Not on the basis that he's poor, doesn't try hard enough etc etc, it was on the basis that his value has gone up and that we could get 2 goal scoring strikers for the same money, and that he wasn't putting the ball in the back of the net frequently enough. Just look at the amount of goals we've put away this season, its clearly not enough. Not necessarily Suarez's fault, but it definetly shows that a couple of top strikers would help our aim.

Whether that is poor idea or not, I was not having a go at Suarez.

He did well today, an exceptional talent but, but this was a game that really meant little. Games like this should bring out the best in everyone because there is no pressure and they should be able to play with the type of freedom that will encourage this sort of display. Its when we're fighting for league places is when it counts.

Lets enjoy him while we have him. Privileged that he is wearing our colours and giving us such amazing performances.

I am absolutely sick of this sort of bull****

The notoriety of Luis Suárez has spread far and wide. Sir Paul McCartney even mentioned him during a concert in Montevideo this month. But for once on Saturday night, we saw the Uruguayan less as the sinister provocateur and more as the inspirational striker,

There are times, watching Luis Suarez play football, when the only option is admiration. For all the controversy, the unpleasantness and worse, he is capable of things that no one else in the Premier League can do.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

If Suarez had finished like that all season we'd have 20 more points.
What i mean by 'like that' is finishing early, decisively, how many times this season in similar situations to his first goal has he checked back and tried to beat the last man before invariably missing.

Just adds to the frustrations, the biggest 'what if' season ever.
Suarez's form since his ban has been great and his goal return much, much better
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.
