I don't think anyone who has watched his antics in his time with us is under teh illusion that he is a master PR strategist.
I think without a doubt he does feel at ease back home. But equally I find it hard to believe that he doesn't know the fallout it is creating here. Has to come a point where an individual realises that they're under contract, paid a lot of money and they need to keep it quiet.

Also he has never said anything about the price and until he says so or fails to turn up for training etc I don't really see what he is doing wrong? He want's to move to further his career and win things.

From someone you were waxing lyrical about a few months ago your opinion of him has changed rather quickly. If he does end up staying I guess all this anger will be brushed under the carpet.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

If he wants to go that desperately he should put in a transfer request
Maybe he already told the club that he will do that when he get back from his holiday or accept a bid. Time will tell.

Why blame a player for something that we don't have a clue will happen or not?

IMO he already told the club that he will put in a transfer request when he get back or when they accept a bid.

Nah, it really won't. Like I said, unacceptable that he's taking the piss out of the club

Sorry, I thought he wanted to move due to the press? I bet as Madrid didn't come calling, he's had a change of heart and the press aren't so bad after all

The Echo article more than anything else seems to be suggesting that he do less talking

For me I'm not that arsed about people professing their love for the club whilst talking its more whether they show they care on the pitch

Same for someone who wants to go, he should stop talking and go through the proper channels

To be honest Arn unless I had it in writing from a player I wouldnt act on it

A verbal request means ****ing nothing and in this day and age with communications as good as they are it wouldnt be difficult for him and or his agent to actually send through a copy of such a document / transfer request

Did Modric hand in a transfer request the season Spurs refused to sell him?

IMO the clause exists but I reckon its set at quite a high figure (£45 million or something like that)

He'd probably have gone for close to that if the biting incident hadnt occurred

IMO he'll be allowed to leave once he submits a formal transfer request in writing and once someone gets near the valuation of his "escape clause"

That doesnt diminish anything from him as a player, hes a superb player and hes given his all whilst hes been hear

But IMO the ways hes going about this whole process is wrong

If you have a clever agent then you don't put in a transfer request before a bid is accepted because if you do that then the majority of the fans would turn against you.

It wouldn't be a way back.

Yes but I think that was again to do with the valuation, if I remember rightly a few teams lowballed them after that

And you think there will be a way back now?

After talking to the media and expressing your desire to leave for Real Madrid and or Arsenal and or anyone else that might come along

Come on Arn you arent stupid

I've no problem with Suarez telling the club privately he wants to go, if him and his agent want to hold off on the transfer request till bids come in thats up to them

But to go public in the manner he has, has created a problem and now the only way that will be resolved is by Suarez handing in a transfer request
