Society is also full of people who make mistakes. People need to move on, no one is perfect. But dragging up something that happened about 10 years ago to discredit him is a little pointless isnt it?Originally posted by Sarb View PostPretty ironic that Rio tweeted to have a dig. The guy deliberately missed a drugs test and also smashed Torres in the back of the head off the ball then picked him up. Society is full of hypocrites.*Except Michael, who died.

I agree we shouldn't be selling him. HOWEVER, I think the balance of this is way out of whack.Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostI have to say, out of all the ex-players it's always Barnes does talks the most sense. Down to earth and non-agenda driven. Love him.
Also, as a side note, we should be supporting our best player and talisman. Some people on here should hang their head in shame for taking the same stance as the likes of Gordon Taylor and David Davies.
There's alot of people that want Suarez out of Liverpool for their own agenda (ie get rid of our best player; similar to what we want to happen to Bale and Tottenham) and are completely blowing this out proportion in order to do that.
We need to stand by him. He scored the equaliser in 96th minute ffs. Some of the downbeat posts on here are quite frankly embarrassing. Did he bite your mother?? We've all done **** we're not proud of.
To want to sell Suarez is probably the thickest **** I've ever heard in my life.
Suarez let us down. He let himself down, his team mates down, the club who have stood by him through racism and diving controversies where he was at least partially responsible, and all the fans who have supported him... and now he goes and does something like this? Seriously though, I know he's our best player but he's also a ****ing idiot. Lets not beat about the bush here, asking if he bit someone's mother is utterly utterly irrelevant. Sure everyone has done things they're not proud of, but how many of us have bitten someone at work? Yeah, if he had a spotless record up to now we could wipe it off as an aberration, but he most definitely hasn't. I know its hardly murder but biting people? Really?
I love the guy for how he plays, but this incident is 100% unnecessary and 100% Suarez fault. I don't think we should sell him because that hurts the club, but I just wonder how some people would be reacting on here if this was RVP or John Terry we were talking about. Seriously. Suarez is a dickhead. Great player, but for ****s sake we can so do without this **** AGAIN.I could not dig, I dared not rob:

Didn't Shelvey make a load of ****house 'tackles', then tried to square up to Whiskey Nose? Not sure what Skrtel's ever done.Originally posted by little dave hedgehog View Postcan't control shelvey and skrtel? wtf have they ever done?Rome wasn't built in a day, but it wasn't built by the apprentice either.

He's been sent off once, and even then there was a lot of debate around whether it was worthy of a red card.Originally posted by Shackanory View PostDidn't Shelvey make a load of ****house 'tackles', then tried to square up to Whiskey Nose? Not sure what Skrtel's ever done.
I agree he is definitely rash in the tackle (but then he's still young and I recall arguably our greatest ever player being the same), but I think your clear dislike of him (judging by your previous posts about him) is making you somewhat harsh. He's hardly out of control.

I don't like Shelvey's attitude or his laziness off the ball, amongst other things, but that's for another day and another thread.Originally posted by Reece View PostHe's been sent off once, and even then there was a lot of debate around whether it was worthy of a red card.

Maybe it is. But then people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. If he is allowed to move on why aren't others? You had Jason Roberts tweeting this morning about Suarez, t-shirts, cultural differences etc. It's one rule for one and another for others.Originally posted by Alex View PostSociety is also full of people who make mistakes. Rio has no credit in my book. Smashing someone in the back of the head whilst they aren't looking then picking them up is a cunts trick. Not to mention his choc ice retweet.

I agree, I couldn't give a flying **** what Rio says or thinks, but I would defend his right to have an opinion and give it if he wants. Smashing someone in the head is undoubtedly a c*nts trick, and if Suarez had been around at the time (and indeed if ****ter was too) then his own indiscretions wouldn't automatically bar him from commenting on Rio imo. But the same thing works in reverse too.
Ultimately the fault does not lie with any of these self-serving media whores, journalists or anyone else for this incident. If Suarez hadn't been suck a cock then none of this would be happening. Nobody else is at fault, and by doing what he did he has opened to floodgates for every person with an agenda, or not, to comment. If we as fans want to support him then we will just have to put up with it. Simple as that imo.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
