I may be wrong but wasnt Suarez warned by the FA over the Evra incident about his future conduct, so he was always going to get a severe sentence.
But if Defoe's biting is only worth a yellow card, then I cant see how the FA can impose much more of a ban than the same as a red card.

You haven't done anything to me; I replied to one of your posts about Suarez, and eventually found out that the reply was thought to be hostile. In the meantime I've also apparently been 'huffy' and 'catty' (or the male equivalent) when trying to focus on the topic - Luis Suarez and his worth to LFC.Originally posted by Marina View PostHonestly, what have I done to you? You're being so catty! Is there a male variant of that word?

They don't publish the same day as they still haven't finished working out their excuses as to why he should be banned for 10 games. Also Fergie hasn't called them back yet to add his comments.Originally posted by IlikeBacon View PostWhat I dont get is why cant the FA publish the report the same day?

"Violent conduct usually carries a penalty of a three match ban, but under new FA rules a commission can decide whether an offence warrants further punishment. The commission has decided the seven game ban for biting which Suarez received from the Dutch FA after a similar incident in 2010 whilst playing for Ajax, has set a reasonable precedent for such an offence, and have extended the tariff because of the player's previous record."
I wonder if any other players will be affected by these "new FA rules". I'm guessing not.Rome wasn't built in a day, but it wasn't built by the apprentice either.

Shut the **** up, you ****ing whopper. If I'd broken the jaw of a fellow professional and sold an exclusive to that rag, I'd have kept my head down and my mouth shut throughout all of this.
Cunt of a man.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He's a tit, him and Redknapp should be helping us out not setting the tone straight after the game and then continuing it days later.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostSouness flapping his ****ing gums again. 10 games is fair apparently

Don't get me started on that beaut. If Suarez had bitten him no doubt his arm would have shattered as he's made of glass.Originally posted by Chris View PostHe's a tit, him and Redknapp should be helping us out not setting the tone straight after the game and then continuing it days later.

The FA couldnt ban Defoe because the ref had taken action giving him a yellow card. Its stupid ****ed up rule imposed by FIFA. Like the mcmanaman tackle, it was in the refs report so the FA wont do anything.Originally posted by Assassin View PostI have just sent this to [email protected] (This is the racism hotline) Does anyone have an email address to the likes of Ayres or any other prominent person in the club I can send it to?
To whom it may concern.
I have been following the Suarez saga with interest. Firstly I do not condone what the player has done. However, I would like to point out the following
An English player Defoe bites another player and receives a yellow card no suspension. A foreign player Suarez bites another player and he receives 10 game ban.
How can you justify your actions with regard to the length of the ban given to a player for exactly the same issue
In a more recent game an English player Ferdinand violently pushes over a player by hitting in the back of the head, again there is no punishment issued
I am saddened and shocked to see that the English FA are blatantly discriminating against a foreign player, see the Race Relations Act 1976 below
The Race Relations Act 1976 was established by the Parliament of the United Kingdom to prevent discrimination on the grounds of race.
Items that are covered include discrimination on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, ethnic and national origin in the fields of employment, the provision of goods and services, education and public functions.
The Act also established the Commission for Racial Equality with a view to review the legislation, which was put in place to make sure the Act rules were followed.
The Act incorporates the earlier Race Relations Act 1965 and Race Relations Act 1968 and was later amended by the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000, notably including a statutory duty on public bodies to promote race equality, and to demonstrate that procedures to prevent race discrimination are effective.
The Act was repealed by the Equality Act 2010, which supersedes and consolidates previous discrimination law in the UK.
Further to this I will be forwarding this email to Liverpool football club in the hope they take legal action against the English FA with regard to the serious offense of contravening the Race Relations Act
Yours sincerely xxxxx xxxxxxxx
They are basically uselss and not worth the membership fees the clubs pay. They need disbanding or restructuring.

They can in exceptional circumstances apparently, I'm sure FIFA has said they can if they wish.Originally posted by Havors View PostThe FA couldnt ban Defoe because the ref had taken action giving him a yellow card. Such an unecessary action that led to this debacle but to the surprise of no one the FA showed the world how tough they are (when it comes to Liverpool and Suarez).
The thing that makes me angry is there is absolutely nothing in our current administration's history that indicates to me that they will fix this to at least have the ban be a fair reflection of his action. LFC have played the MR nice guy for to long while everyone takes the piss.
