You can if you are the FA and you dont have any guidelines laid down in the first placeOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostI didn't say there was but you can't arbitrarily decide to start increasing bans for repeat offences just because an offence is deemed by someone as more severe than others. The principle has to remain the same, surely, regardless of the offence. You either increase punishments exponentially for repeat offences or you don't - and this FA appear to have never done so in the past.Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. They're clearly just making it up as they go along, despite no precedents. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

They should but Fergie is untouchable and really because of that I'm not sure what real relevance you can give towards the Suarez caseOriginally posted by fah-q View PostIt's not the same offence no, but repeated breaking of their rules should mean that they apply the same principles of "totting up" regardless of the offence.Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. Decisions are clearly too arbitrary, probably because the review panels are all different and they have no real rules or guidelines to followBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

It's not just Ferguson - countless have been "warned about their future conduct", offended again and not been subject to "totting up". Pulis, Allardyce, Brown, Benitez, Rooney, Cattermole, Ferdinand etc. It just never applies. Except we're told it does nowOriginally posted by Lecter View PostThey should but Fergie is untouchable and really because of that I'm not sure what real relevance you can give towards the Suarez case

What do you think they're doing then? They seem to be plucking figures from thin air - completely arbitrarily. That's making it up. As you say there are no guidelines, no precedents, no consistency, no **** all - so they make it up.Originally posted by Lecter View PostMaking it up is a bit far

I still can't believe he did it, WHY ??? just plain crazy, it was always going to be public hanging, even when his name was bandied about for the player of the year I heard journo's saying they doubt he'd win it because of the Evra incident and what has that got to do with it but I think they're right..
Get Big Andy back for the six games and let him throw his weight about the penalty area and knock a few teeth out, wont be great but at least it'll cheer me up a bit.
You never know he might do well alongside Sturridge and his market value could rocket up to around £10 million

Not sure why he moans about getting absuse off LFC fans when he comes out with drivel like that. Isn't the first timeOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostSome Scotch journo (Graham Ruthven?) thinks Suarez should have been given community service! LMAO!
I won't link to his drivel. What a tool.
