Europa League/Champions League ISN'T domestic competition. Football League's are domestic, ie Premier League, Championship, La Liga, Eredivise, Bundesliga etc.Originally posted by Philgas View PostBeen looking for a link for domdy but can't find one .
But I noticed when he was on a domestic ban for Ajax he could still play for them in Europe hmmm interesting sorry in my opinionRome wasn't built in a day, but it wasn't built by the apprentice either.

There's some rule preventing that anyway, even loaning him abroad. They were discussing it on RAWK and it has to be proven that the player isn't avoiding their punishment (or something like that).Originally posted by Scratch View PostSo, can we loan him to a div 2 side, don't they play about 2/3 games before the PL starts, so we can reduce his ban that way?
We couldn't loan him to a Serie B team for example.

So here's my new plan.
We loan him to my local side St. Patricks Athletic who are not far into their league season now. His ban will carry over and he'll be back in time for pre season plus I get to watch him in the stadium of light inchicore for a fiver or thereabouts.
Everyone's a winner except the pricks at the FA

Don't forget the FA REPRESENTING Rooney to get his suspension for violent conduct reduced so he could play for the national team.Originally posted by Sarb View PostRio didn't get charged for his assault on Torres because they thought he would be in the England squad. Terry only got 4 games because Hodgson had picked him in his Euros squad and the FA thought he'd carry on playing for England.
