It's a domestic ban and yet journo's and that **** Taylor are saying the FA will want push for the ban to follow him if he left the country so surely that means if they are looking for uefa to enforce the ban then any europa league games will count.

I'm pretty sure Barton tried to escape his ban by playing non league. When that didn't work he left the country cos his fa ban only applied to fa governed competitions.

I am wrong on this. The LFP announced when he signed that they would uphold his ban so he served it there.

Think it was optional from them though cos I'm pretty sure Luis didn't serve his Dutch ban in England. Doesn't look like UEFA come into it.
