That says he's had it with quite a few players and means business. I can see some serious business being done and some very committed players coming this way.
Which was twisted by Darren Gough to mean - LFC want a team of people who will bite the opposition

Agree - think he wants what we want basically. People willing to fight for the shirt, who give there all every single game. This for me is Suarez's single biggest quality.

What? If he gets loaned to an FA SANCTIONED LEAGUE TEAM then he WILL still be banned but he will miss more games hence speeding up his return to competitive LEAGUE action.

Luis Suarez today confirmed his decision not to appeal the 10-game ban imposed following the incident with Branislav Ivanovic at Anfield on Sunday, April 21.

Managing director Ian Ayre said: "The charges against Luis were his to consider and we have to respect his decision to not appeal the 10-game ban.

"We are all disappointed at the severity of the punishment and in particular the differing standards that have been applied across various previous incidents.

"Luis is an important member of our team and nothing has changed in that regard.

"We are committed to helping him improve his conduct and he will be given our full support. We look forward to him returning to the team next season when he is available for selection."

Brendan Rodgers added: "We can't hide our disappointment at the outcome of this situation, but we have to move on and support Luis in his decision.

"Luis has made a huge contribution to the squad this season and we respect his decision to accept the ban.

"He will be missed for the remainder of this season and the early part of next, but we will have the opportunity to welcome a better person and player when he returns."

Tbh, I think every club in the premiership would like players with that intensity, whether he can attract players like that, especially with our reported budget, remains to be seen

he said he'd like 6 more like him, but he never actually mentioned in what way. for all we know he meant raw talent. and he's right there.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

But they do not play 2 potential league cup games and do not play in the LDV cup. FA Trophy does not start till November so he would be playing in a much lower standard of competition and not come back any earlier despite their earlier league start.

If it was to be done, it would have to be to the highest standard of competition without making it look ridiculous.

Otherwise you'd just loan him to someone in the North West Counties league so he could cakewalk through 3 rounds of FA Cup qualifying before anyone in the football league had kicked a ball.

edit: In fact even that would not work as they don't kick in till September.

Not by much though. 2013/14 PL starts August 17th. nPower Football League (Championship, L1 and L2) starts August 3rd. Championship finishes a week tomorrow, League One and Two finishes tomorrow. Is it worth all the hassle for the sake of a week this season and a fortnight next season?

It's a nice idea but I can't see the club doing it. It would be taking the p*ss after all (yes, I know the FA deserve it but still).

Anyway doesn't the FA have to sanction loan moves? I'm sure they can invent some spurious and convenient reason for rejecting any application.

This. Something daft like he'll have to serve his ban at LFC before they loan him out due to "new rules" no ****er has heard of before.
