About what? From what I've read Stelling seems to be agreeing that the ban was too harsh and Thommo doesn't? So it might be that Thommo is being a cunt.
Nope, I don't think I would be, it would be to take the heat off themselves and nothing to do with the actual punishment.
Suarez has got that length of ban for who he is not what he did IMO, you wonder if it had been Gerrard or Rooney for example what they'd have got I'd put cash on it being at tops 5 game ban but likely only the 3 games.
Too much crap coming from his mouth to keep track.
Started off with this beauty.
Stelling - "Brendan Rodgers has came out and stated that the 10 game judgement is a reflection of the man rather than the incident"
Thompson - "He's wrong, of course its against the incident"
Went from that into pontification-overload saying the club were wrong etc etc etc
Opinions and all that etc etc, but the best you can say about Thompson around this is that at least he's consistent since the incident in his drivel.

TBH, Thompson was tripping himself up with his hyperbole, putting himself out there to be shot at. The fact that there was more sense coming from the other idiots on that panel should be enough to make you think twice about what you're saying.
Poor stuff from Thompson all in all. Make your point and be fair, too much feigned disgust and revulsion does not make you appear reasonable and impartial when you believe that people see you as impartial. No different than some of the muppets in the media that we've been ridiculing over the last week.

When you're defending something you really love I think sometimes the brain doesn't engage with the mouth. Still love his passion for the club

PFA chief executive Taylor earlier said: "It would be embarrassing if he is named Player of the Year.
"But we have got to deal with it and make sure he is Player of the Year not just in a footballing sense but as a human being as well and we will be trying to do that."
