Suarez is here now, we have him, all the top sides would love to have him, so lets use him properly, buy some quality, and get back to where we need to be.

Surround our latest gem with players good enough to be in the same team as him, do that, and we'll be fine, and might even make the jump back into the big time sooner than we'd hoped.

If all it takes is 50mill to buy 5 Coutinho/Sturridge type players, then we should be able to manage that anyway, without having to sell Suarez, how good would we be then if by some miracle we got them all right? (not that we would )

Anyway, regardless of the pro's and con's of selling or not, if the only reason for keeping him was that i get to see him play in the Red of lfc for as long as possible, then that will do me.

The bloke is a wizard, and imo there is more to come, he will score some simply sublime goals, rather he scores them for us..

Or we could use the TV money and money raised from surplus players to raise £50m and keep one of the best players we are ever likely to have at the club.

          Stronger.

But the reality would definitely be different.

It was quite hard to keep up with the whole thing, but once things settled down and people looked at the evidence rationally, was it generally accepted that he was guilty?
I think the lack of replies might be telling. I am unsure still myself tbh, purely because that proven liar and cunt Evra is involved.

Nah, that's normal for my posts.

There's no doubt he called him Negro(in the Spanish pronunciation not the English way).

However I don't believe he said it 8 times and I don't think he meant it in the way it was perceived by Evra who's own evidence was extremely inconsistent and it could be said he was coached. But Luis gave them a chance to hang him out to dry and they duly delivered.

We will never know but I think he defiantly called him it to get a reaction and to try and get Evera to react. More so now as we can clearly see his temperament due to the biting incident.

We probably could buy 5 signings (3 CBs a Winger and another striker) and combined they probably wouldn't hit Suarez' goal tally for this season.

We have done well with the last couple of signings, but history dictates that not all signings will settle as well as these two.

We have a world class player and prob around 30m+ to spend in the summer, I would prefer that option than 80m and gambling on all of them being a success.

Yes, I said if they turned out to be of the same quality as Sturridge and Coutinho - it was a hypothetical question (although probably still has more chance of happening than of Suarez not doing something totally ridiculous again )

Well I don't. He was trying to get into Evras head alright. Nothing wrong with that, but I don't believe for one second any of it was racial.

They were talking in Spanish and Negro in Spanish has a completely different meaning and pronunciation than the English word which is spelt the same.

Unfortunately the halfwits at the FA chose to ignore context.

That's pretty much how I see it.

The report goes into that in considerable detail with independent experts, so they clearly did consider its context. Whether they made the right decision after that is up for debate but the idea that they ignored it or weren't aware is bollocks. It's meaning in Uruguay is entirely context-dependent - it can be friendly or very insulting. Perhaps Suarez meant it in a friendly way and it was misinterpreted. Just as they misinterpreted him when he said that he pinched Evra's arm to help calm him down. No, they can't have, because he admitted under questioning that he didn't pinch his arm to calm him down.

I suppose everyone will have their own view of that report. I've more sympathy with the view that he was wronged and we should keep him than that he did it and we should keep him because he's good.
