PR is the key and to protect our players against the media.
We failed to protect Torres when DBF called him a diver for example. The racism case was a mess from our side.

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

Yeah, at least.
I'll be ****ing livid if we don't accept more than that for him, really in today's market he's worth £60 - £70 million without a shadow of a doubt.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

TBH After the way Torres left i didn't allow myself to believe all the **** players came out with about "love of the club" ect so i'm not that fussed if he ****s off as we replaced Torres with Suarez and we will replace Suarez. Also without Suarez in the team for the last 4 games we looked good with Sturridge and coutinho leading the attack.

Liverpool to only entertain bids of £50m for bad boy

Liverpool will seek a club-record transfer fee in excess of £50 million for Luis Suárez before even considering selling the forward.
Suárez’s attempts to force a transfer to Real Madrid persisted yesterday with confirmation that he wishes to leave Anfield and a claim that the attention he receives from the media has made him disillusioned.
The 26-year-old’s assertion that he has already informed Liverpool of his desire to leave was slapped down by his club, who broke their silence on the matter after 48 hours of public provocation from the Suárez camp.
“Luis Suárez is not for sale — neither Luis nor his representatives have communicated their feelings to Liverpool Football Club,” a club official said. “The club remains supportive of Luis and expect him to honour his contract.”
If anything, the events of recent days have hardened Liverpool’s resolve not to allow Suárez to engineer a move on his terms. Furthermore, their belief that the Uruguay striker is one of the world’s outstanding players and at the peak of his powers means they will pursue a transfer fee in keeping with his standing if they allow him to leave.
One complicating factor is the presence of a clause in Suárez’s contract that requires them to consider offers of £40 million. Sources close to the club, though, maintain that it does not compel them to accept bids for that amount and insist that it will not prevent them from seeking a far higher figure.
Real are the only club to publicly declare an interest in Suárez and they will hope that continues and allow them to avoid a bidding war that would force the price up. But even if the Spanish club have the field to themselves, Liverpool’s present stance is that they will not even consider doing business unless they achieve what they perceive to be Suárez’s full market value.
The Liverpool hierarchy has expected Suárez’s commitment to the club to be tested this summer, despite him being less than 12 months into a four-year deal that was signed last August. This month, Brendan Rodgers, the Liverpool manager, admitted that he expected interest from rival clubs, but emphasised that he was under no pressure to sell the former Ajax player.
Rodgers’s only concession was that “every player has his price” and it now appears that it is up to Real to meet Liverpool’s valuation, one that matches the Merseyside club’s belief that he is a superior player to Fernando Torres, whom they sold for £50 million to Chelsea in January 2011.
Suárez made his feelings known yesterday during a press conference before Uruguay’s friendly match against France in Montevideo on Wednesday. “It is a difficult moment for me,” Suárez said. “[Rodgers] and my colleagues know that [the media] didn’t treat me well. Because of the paparazzi, I could not go in my garden, I could not go to the supermarket. My reason for leaving is not the money. It’s my family and image. I don’t feel comfortable here any more.
“It’s a good moment for a change of environment because of all I’ve been through in England, where I haven’t been judged as a player but based on other things. I had a hard time, very hard, in the things that have been said are lies. One has limits and the family also suffers. They treated me bad and it would be understandable if one day I go to my club [and the media are waiting for him], but I cannot walk my baby — the paparazzi are always there.
“In England, they talk about many things and in some ways I feel uncomfortable. I do not know when I’m going and I do not know if I’m staying. If I stay it is because it is a great club, but also in turn I know that it is difficult because of the harassment I get from the press.”

What a pointless clause.
Another Team: We'll give you £35m for Suarez.
Liverpool FC: No
Another Team: ... £37.5m?
Liverpool FC: No
Another Team: ... £40m?
Liverpool FC: Did you just offer £40m?
Another Team: Yes.
Liverpool FC: Damnit! Well because of the clause we had to consider it more than the other two bids, however our answer is no.
