So incendiary, and such false representation of what he's said. I think he wants to (and will) go, but that sort of thing is absurd.
And I wouldn't hold it against him if he goes. Are we winning?

Also if the clause exists what is the point in putting a time limit on when something must happen by?
As presumably if someone triggers the clause and he wants to go to that club it doesn't matter whether it is today, next week or on the final day of the transfer window.
Football journalists really seem to be able to get away with writing any old crap. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

If a player puts in a tranny request. The lose out on the "the golden handshake" of a few millions as part of unpaid wages for the duration of the the contract and possibly a % of the transfer fee. In Suarez's case I am guessing this could be several millions of £'sOriginally posted by RedReet View PostIt doesn't make any sense either. Think it's either the Mirror article (which I read last night and can't be bothered to read again) or one in the Daily Mail, that he gets a % of the transfer fee as his 'loyalty' bonus.Originally posted by Assassin View PostIf a player puts in a tranny request. Stands to miss out on a few million quid if he requests a transfer.

Because apparently the clause is set at something like £40m but it triggers the club actually being allowed to talk to the player and LFC considering the bid, but it doesn't mean that the bid has to be accepted at £40m by us. Hence, us allegedly putting a deadline on when a deal must be completed. Pretty sure a few of the reliable journalists like Barrett, King, Hunter said this a couple of weeks agoOriginally posted by Exiled_red View Post
