**** it let him go to Madrid and win **** all as Barca still win the league at a canter and Madrid yet again get knocked out the Cl. I'll give him 2 seasons at madrid and that includes his second season as a bench warmer when Madrid sign someone else next summer.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, he's totally career driven, and tbh, i believe (rightly or wrongly) that he's come to the same conclusion Torres did, and that is with all things considered, it will take LFC years to get back to being any sort of football powerhouse again, if we ever do.

So, he thinks one more season at LFC is a season wasted, as the ultimate battle this club is looking to win, won't be won in his time here even if he stayed longer.

Doesn't have to of come direct from Suarez though, & its feasible that it came from contacts at LFC. Suarez's agent met with the club a day or two ago didn't he.

It's not the only way though. We need to take some calculated risks and pay top dollar for certain players. This team really is not that far off.

It takes time to fix the damage done by previous set of owners and tons of bad buys that we have done over last 4,5 years.

The progress is evident and imo we are moving in the right direction but there is no doubt that things will not get better over night.

One of the teams we are trying to mimic now Borussia Dortmund was in terrible shape not long time ago but they recognized that with shrewd buys and slowing adding a piece by piece they can turn the corner and we will need to do the same.

Yes it is true that we are dealing with catch 22 here (We cannot get in CL unless we get quality footballers and quality footballers for the most part won't come unless we play in CL) and that our best players can't wait indefinitely to see us competing for top honors but we have no other choice but approach this methodically and systematically as we are not own by Sugar daddies.

It will take what will take, which is fine by me under given circumstances as long as the signs of improvement are clearly visible year by year.

Why would he be willing to go to Arsenal? Makes absolutely no ****ing sense. It has to be bollocks. But I also refuse to believe that he would go to another premiership club after all the support the fans and club have given him. There is literally no reason to waste our time backing these footballers to the hilt and making ourselves look bad when they might do something like this. Football's getting less and less romantic every day.
