    No he didn't knew the status of the club when he signed. He believed that he would play together with Torres. We sold him.

    The club also must show loyalty to the players, loyalty in this case is ambition.

        And it assumes that playing in the CL is the driver rather than millions of pounds in transfer bonus and higher wages. ie. Arn, it might be a choice between two lies.

        Oh, and living somewhere nicer than liverpool might be an issue.

                The bite thing was blown out of proportion undoubtedly (10 games was massively excessive a ban) however he can hardly justify talking about it like it was someone else's fault

                Thing is though, he signed a new contract last summer in full knowledge of where the club was at, and by any measure we then improved last season. So starting to whine about it now comes over quite poorly imo. I don't begrudge him wanting to play in the CL etc, but the tone of all this is pretty sour, especially after how the club has treated him.

                The sooner something happens in football so that contracts actually become worth the paper they are written on the better.

                        Its pretty simple really. If he wants to move just put in a transfer request. People can 'understand his situation' all they like. If he is desperate to go, put in an official request.

                              Take this as you will.

                              I've been on this site since it started and never gave any ITK info. Started a new role at work and have a new boss.

                              My boss knows the Physio at Arsenal. I don't know how the Physio knows this stuff. I'm assured he had never lied about anything.

                              Before anything came out in the press he told my boss Suarez was off to Arsenal. That everything was coming into place and in short it was a done deal.

                              Then a spanner was thrown in the works. FSG are happy to sell. But Rodgers has informed then that if Suarez was sold to Arsenal he would walk. So the wheels have come off & Suarez will not go to Arsenal.

                              Now, whilst I'm sure you have many questions, the only one that matters is whether or not Rodgers would threaten to walk out if another club came in. My boss seems to think that's the logical answer, meaning he believes Suarez will stay.

                              Me personally, I think the issue could be that Arsenal are a direct rival for 4th place and we'd be giving up on 4th if Suarez went to them.

                              I guess we will see.
