We need to get shot asap, to the worst possible option for him even if it means we do not get the best price. Time to start looking at the Russian league and seeing what players we could do a swap/cash deal with. Luis does not deserve to wear that liverbird again.

I knew you'd be out to defend.

He bit an opponent, whether he took out flesh is irrelevant. Can you seriously not see this or are you just being a cunt? There is no excuse under the sun for such a childish disgusting act.

              Then why the hyperbole?
I sense a lot of anger Bob.
And please refrain from calling me a cunt.
You've shown yourself capable of forgiving heinous acts of disloyalty in the past - why not extend that to luis?

                Suarez's English has improved tremendously.

He does have a point in that were nowhere near challenging since rafa left. i understand where hes coming from because hes a top class player playing in an average team.

But he's gone about it the wrong way and now he's changed his tune. Imo his move will be to a premiership team because I can't see any foreign club other than psg paying the money we want foe him. We just need to extract the best price possible.

The world is really a mad place. If a player is honest then he is a cunt and if he lies and tell everyone how much he love the club then we love him.

Luis Suarez is just another top class player that want to win. Match his ambition and he stays. Don't match it and he is off.

So far we haven't matched his ambition. Spend for example £50m net and show that you want to get back to the CL as soon as possible and players like Suarez stays.

£50m net isn't fantasy money. Even a club like Swansea will probably spend around £30m net.

It's fantasy money if we haven't got it. Do we want to start racking up unmanageable debt again?

how about showing loyalty to the club and fans? am pretty sure he knew the status and ambition of the club when he signed.....he's just being a pussy and wants out after the mess he has created

If we sell Suarez for say £50m then Rodgers should have at least £100m left to spend to strenghten the team.

That is what I expect from FSG, a £50m net transfer budget every season. We should be able to afford that because of the new TV deal.

It's also assumes that £50m would be enough "ambition" to persuade him to delay playing in the Champions League for another season and, realistically, competing for the title.

And if we accept £50m isn't "fantasy money" then it seems perfectly reasonable to believe Suárez and his advisors would see it the same way and realise that it doesn't guarantee we'll finish in the top 4 next season either and therefore may well remain unable to "match his ambitions" in 2014/15 as well.

So we'd either have to spend more or let him go.

In short it seems to me Arn's conclusion is all the least plausible of all the scenarios that follow from his own assumptions.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
