‘I always want to improve. That’s why I left Ajax for Liverpool.

‘But this club needs to fight to enter the Champions League and, when it doesn’t happen, it damages the morale of any player. So I’ve suffered.

‘It is hard to view the Premier League every week with never a chance of winning it.’

Does anyone think those words have been quoted verbatim?

If it were true and FSG are happy to sell Suarez to our main rival for 4th place, well then i'd worry about our club in their hands.... because it would be an incredibly stupid thing to do. That's a big if btw.

How to Lose Friends and Infuriate People by Luis Suarez.
          Hello mert.

I'll believe the Arsenal physio might have an idea that they were going to try to buy him. That the Arsenal physio has any idea where Suarez might want to move to I don't buy at all. Flagrantly his first choice has always been Madrid and if they offer enough he'll go there.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
            Mine angry and defrauded young?

I've been on this site since it started and never gave any ITK info. Started a new role at work and have a new boss.

My boss knows the Physio at Arsenal. I don't know how the Physio knows this stuff. I'm assured he had never lied about anything.

Before anything came out in the press he told my boss Suarez was off to Arsenal. That everything was coming into place and in short it was a done deal.

Then a spanner was thrown in the works. FSG are happy to sell. But Rodgers has informed then that if Suarez was sold to Arsenal he would walk. So the wheels have come off & Suarez will not go to Arsenal.

Now, whilst I'm sure you have many questions, the only one that matters is whether or not Rodgers would threaten to walk out if another club came in. My boss seems to think that's the logical answer, meaning he believes Suarez will stay.

Me personally, I think the issue could be that Arsenal are a direct rival for 4th place and we'd be giving up on 4th if Suarez went to them.

              I guess we will see.
Ive been told by someone more reliable than deluded Gunners that there is zero desire from FSG, Ayre and Rodgers to sell Suarez. Bascombe has reported exactly the same as have the Echo. It's bollocks. The only desire to move on is from Suarez.

And no dig intended at you mate

Those quotes are a joke. He's talking about the ivanovic incident as if he was the aggrieved party.

Had that not happened, perhaps I would have been regarded as the best Premier League player last season
Well you have no one else but yourself to blame Luis. Footballers really are a rare breed of idiot.

Perhaps he was asked "If those things hadn't happened do you think you would have been regarded as the best Premier League player last season?" and he replied with a "yes" or a "maybe"?

Here is the disconnect: the player says he has suffered without CL football... well, so have the supporters! The difference? We can't just change clubs based on their status over one or two years, chasing around glory. If a supporter did that, he would be a plastic cunt. In the culture of the game, players should know better than to evoke that emotion. It's funny, the player says he's suffered and it is hard to watch the league every week knowing you won't win it; NO ****. I can't get out there on the pitch and help us win the title, though. The power is is the hands of the players to take points and win... the club have catching up to do, but ****ing off after two years after everything he's done here, bans that have taken our best player off the pitch and cost us points, the balls it takes to throw that in the face of the club, true or not-- it's just stupid, incredibly blinkered and selfish.

But if he helps us lift the trophy next year, I won't give two ****s about it.

I just want him gone now. Get the money and invest it in players who want to be here. He just chats pure ****. Sell him to a foreign club and move on.

Perhaps he should've been asked that if he hadn't spent so much time banned would we have had a better chance at top 4

I sense a lot of anger Bob.
And please refrain from calling me a cunt.
You've shown yourself capable of forgiving heinous acts of disloyalty in the past - why not extend that to luis?
I genuinely meant to put a smiley after the word cunt. Thought I had to be honest. So apologise but wasn't meant with anger.

You are very defensive of him. I want him to leave regardless of any of these so called comments he's made or not. He's lost my respect and in the murky world that football has become I want our players to behave better than he has. We used to be respected. I want that back. Just because the others act up, why should ours?

Really is intent on leaving and has alienated himself here. No way back for him and I just hope he ends up at Anzhi. We need to get in touch with the cash rich Russian teams and get this finalised.
