There's no loyalty in football now. Its just full of mercenaries who think that spending only 18 months at a club is sufficient time to build a winning team and if it doesn't happen fast enough they are off.

Well, you know, I had probably right on that one. I and many others had right when we said last summer that if we don't qualify for the CL then Suarez will leave.Originally posted by kingfunk View PostSurely after all this even arsenal must be considering withdrawing their bid!! What a ****, two years max till he wants to **** off again, I now have little doubt let that the bite was on purpose.
That is one of the main reasons to why signing up a manager that needed a learning year wasn't the right move by FSG last summer.
We needed results as soon as possible. Short term more important than long term.Stop the cyberhate

If we get £50m+ (which we should) then surely it would be better spent improving two or three areas of the first team rather than seeking a direct replacement?Originally posted by el matador View PostNo matter how much we get for Suarez we won't be able to spend it to strengthen the team properly. The players we need to push us on with that money just won't come to us.
Very disappointing

Please don't interpret this as me picking on you, but I'm just curious: why do you think the club is at fault for everything wrong that happens? It's really weird. It's like you're not actually a Liverpool supporterOriginally posted by Arn View PostFirst Sahin and now Suarez both pointing to broken promises.

We definitely won't get anywhere near £50 million now. We just have to put our foot down, dig our heels in. If Luis wants to play hardball, Ayre and the board have to grow a set and smash that hardball back into Luis' court.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostIf we get £50m+ (which we should) then surely it would be better spent improving two or three areas of the first team rather than seeking a direct replacement?

He isn't, he's a Rafa Benitez supporter which is fine too, I pretty much only like basketball because of LeBron James.Originally posted by Marina View PostPlease don't interpret this as me picking on you, but I'm just curious: why do you think the club is at fault for everything wrong that happens?
