Yeah, never traveling north of your aunt's house in Birkenhead and growing up in America means you don't really meet Newcastle fans. This country is full of Arsenal fans though.

Does JH saying we won't entertain any bids from arsenal really confirm to the idea of sitting down to negotiate 'in good faith'?

I don't think Suarez has acted in good faith. Two parties have to adhere to the clause for it to be valid!

Well yeah, that and Arsenal's bid of £40m + £1 was hardly something to negotiate in good faith about given that it showed they had inside knowledge of a confidential contract clause.

I actually wonder how different this all would have been if Arsenal had just bid something like £45m from the getgo and been prepared to actually negotiate properly. All they've actually done is trolled us with an insulting bid then sat there watching the chaos as Suarez has gone postal. At least Chelsea for all their flaws do this **** properly, when Torres made it clear he wanted to go they hiked their bid to an acceptable level without much messing around.

Under revised Neil Young guidelines, all I can say to this is:

            Yes, possibly.

Do you not think they have already met and discussed?

His interview seems to have convinced a few that he will be sold to Arsenal. Really strange.

I think if we get an offer from abroad, a swap deal or something then we may move him on

John Henry never came out like this though. He never made such a blatant statement, so I think the situation is completely different.
Even if he had we've obviously learned our lesson as we were taken to the cleaners with 50m burning a hole in our pocket with next to no time for replacements.

We can just say it's being invested in the stadium and we'll have about 50p left.

In many ways Rodgers has the most difficult task ahead of him than any of his predecessors since Shankly.

He'll go next summer after we qualify for cl and replace him with someone who's not an ungrateful merc.

Henry, who believes Suárez is misguided in his reasons for wishing to join Arsenal. He said: "Players usually want to win. They want to go, generally in any sport, where they can win. That's why I think this particular episode is misguided. We've won more trophies than Arsenal, but I really don't want to get into that."
                              Well, you just did. So..
