This is absolute bollocks, a stamp is deliberate so presumably the Belgian player who stamped on the South Korean is also going to receive a four month ban from all footballing activity?! I'm sure the Belgian player would deny that it was a deliberate act, stuff happens in the heat of the moment. Biting is weird, but it's violent conduct nothing more nothing less - and far less damaging than a stamp.

That's how I feel too.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostYou know what I'm not particularly bothered if he stays or goes anymore. If he stays great if not we have a massive fee which can be reinvested into the squad. With John W Henry we now have an owner who won't take any crap.
That rug really tied the room together.

I believe that the system we now play can only improve any of the strikers/forwards/attacking players being mentioned. Suarez will get his move but I see Liverpool winning this one by spreading the quality (albeit not as high), assists and goals.
I also believe the children are our future, but I don't believe I can fly!ON THE COUCH...

Spanish daily SPORT have bad news for Liverpool fans, as they boldly claim that Barcelona have agreed terms with Luis Suarez on his transfer to the Camp Nou, and the deal is labelled as ‘inevitable’.
Just in case readers are unsure of what ‘inevitable’ means, SPORT also say the conclusion of the transfer is only ’a matter of time’ and undoing the deal is ‘not feasible’.
SPORT further claim inside knowledge of the current thinking towards Suarez at Liverpool, reporting that his expulsion from the World Cup and all the controversy over that bite means Suarez is ‘depreciating slowly but steadily’, and the Reds are now open to doing business over their star striker.
As to the details of the deal, SPORT outline that Barca will start the bidding with Liverpool by offering 30 million euros and Alexis Sanchez. That total package, from Barca’s perspective, is said to be worth €60m.
As to the front page of SPORT on Sunday, it’s claimed that Luis Suarez will get treatment from a psychologist to control his biting impulses.
The tabloid claim such therapy takes a year to train the brain and master emotions, while experts believe that Suarez’s behavior is caused by childhood frustrations.Oh I say his vision there was lovely

I'm sorry but how the hell can you say with certainty that he was "trying to get a reaction by any means possible"? What you're opinion is doesn't really matter, but you shouldn't present it as fact.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostNo it's not. Its Suarez trying to get a reaction using any means possible. We need to stop that delusion.
I don't think he's racist, but on the football pitch he is a cunt. Supremely talented and a nice guy of it, but on it.......
As far as facts go, it is a fact that the FA simply chose to believe Evra despite his changing his story and chose not to believe Suarez, despite there being a total lack of corroborative evidence.
It was just the typical FA show trial - the accused was guilty from the minute be was charged, despite the complete lack of evidence - indeed ignoring expert testimony on the use of certain words in Latin American Spanish

I'm pretty sure he admitted to what he said and I'm sure he'd not used the words as some sort of friendly banter.
It's in the past but I think painting Luis as a poor persecuted victim is wrong; he keeps getting himself into avoidable controversies and at some point perhaps you have to say rather than blaming authorities and the length of bans etc... that Luis needs to stop putting himself in these positions and take responsibilities for his actions.
