I rate him about the same as Shaw. Probably better defensively. Moreno's not much better either.Originally posted by Paddy View PostI actually don't think Bertrand is that bad, especially if its a reasonable fee, say 4-6million.
Could be a solid little deal for that price. He has a lot of scope to improve too."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

It has to be Sanchez or no deal. 50 + Sanchez or the greasy turds can do one."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

i think Barcelona are ****in haunted for this world cup - firstly that Sanchez has looked very good. Secondly that Suarez has done the bollix and improved his chances of the move that he wants......
In reality, i think if the situation is played right by LFC, it could be a win-win - we either get one more season (or about 75% of it) or we get Sanchez plus possibly one or two more world class (or close to it) players for the team.
I agree that its likely that we have leaked the info, but perhaps that is so that we can say to Luis on Sept 1st, "sory buddy but we did open negociations but Barca were taking the piss". Which is what i think they will do to be honest....
Two positives if LS does stay - he proved last season that he won't be the type to throw his toys out of the pram. He will be eagar to prove he is still the best in the country. And also, if the team can be there or there abouts without him till November - then he will come back fresh, and open up new assholes on every defense in the league...
