Thanjk you.
Paul.S
He's scored more than 30% of our goals last season and whatever people say about him being an 'unpleasant' character won't change the fact that losing him will be a massive blow to us. Even taking into account the money we'll pocket out of his transfer.
He's irreplaceable.
Something thats being ignored is he also got around 15 assists also. How many other goals did he have a significant hand in? As well as winning many penalties...
More than half our goals, probably. That what we need to replace. An impossible task. We really need to focus on improving our defensive record. For me thats a holding midfielder with legs, a reliable arielly dominant cetreback, and a natural leftback who not classes as potential. Push stevie up front where he can do damage
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Agree with everything except for the bold bit. With his age and groin issues, I don't think Stevie can do it further up field again. He can't strike the ball as hard and often as he used to. Gerrard as a dependable contributor of double figure goals is a thing of the past.
The goals and assists will be spread out for sure. Sturridge, Sterling, Coutinho, Henderson, Allen will step up -- they have to -- and maybe we'll score fewer goals overall but a class CB and LB (a RB too, if possible) will mean we don't have to 100+ goals and afford to score 80+ and win games because we're conceding far less.
He never ever gets injured as well. I can't recall him missing a match for us.
His fitness record is incredible. Particularly for a striker who's regularly targeted by the opposition for some rough treatment.
Yet he's getting into his late-20s now having been targeted by the opposition for years, is now carrying a knee injury for the first time in his career, and is going to be banned from training with his club for a while. We may look back in a couple of years and think that we got the best out of him in that regard?
Wishful thinking I'm afraid. He's just coming into his prime.
Certainly not wishful thinking - he's a joy to watch and still will be for Barca, I don't want to see him injured. I just mean that it's very rare to have such a great injury-free record over a whole career. It really is incredible. You'd think his luck would run out sooner or later...
We were like a force of nature last season. There were so many games where the opposition was blown away and never expected it.
I worry that teams will be much more cautious against next season and we won't get the space we consistently used to find. In that situation a player like Suarez who can create chances accidentally on the out breath are pretty damn vital.
