    Mascherano

He says that the win was also for LFC.

He didn't need to say that and I think it was pretty impressive that he did.

Me too. And to be honest I forgive him now.

    Well said Masch!

It was a nice touch, he's not forgiven in my eyes, far from it.

In saying that he didn't need to say anything about LFC - it was a pleasant surprise and fair play to em.

Yep, i forgive him now. Hodgson must've been a nightmare to play under and at the peak of his career, Mascher still has a thought for LFC fans.

The entire point in eight words
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

I think he mainly holds a personal grudge against utd from his games with us, the 'respect' sending off in particular. Still, nice that he mentioned it, and in such a winding up ITV way too.

I will always have a place in my heart for Mascher, although unhappy the way he left especially considering the fantastic display he produced in his last match against Arsenal. Given with Bodge around I find it easier to forgive him - and would like to think it'd not have happened, or in that way if Rafa or a different manager were in charge.

That'll do me. When teams like Barca come in at the time they did, with the side they have...most players would do the same, to play in the present with those players, and to be part of the legend that this side will become.
