Happy to have Charlie at last - I have a feeling he's gonna be pretty ace for us.
Really wasn't expecting it to be conlcuded so quietly, notice Sky have no footage of him arriving with Kenny as they had no idea what the King was up to ...the sneak
Your too good to be true, can't take the ball off you you got a heavenly touch, you pass like Sounness to rush. And when we're pissed in the bars we thank the Lord that your ours

Getting him for under £7m is a fair price considering he only has a year to go on his contract. Could prove to be a decent squad player. I think his passing will be under more scrutiny now that he's joined a big club. Hopefully he will become more tactically disciplined and realises that not every pass has to be a 40 yarder. A simple 5 yard pass can be just as effective.
We now need to get rid of some of the deadwood as we're massively over stocked in the cm department. Having said that I still think we need another player to compete with Lucas as he's the only one who is capable of breaking up attacks. An improvement on him would be great but I suspect we won't be buying another cm after Adam.

You could be right but I think that mantle is taken by Andy Carroll.Originally posted by Rich View PostHe'll be the making or breaking of kenny's second stint"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.
Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

£7m and no players. Nice.
CHARLIE Adam’s reign as King of Blackpool is over.
The skipper who played such a key part in the club’s remarkable recent rise finally sealed his long-awaited move to Liverpool late last night.
It brought to an end the year’s longest running transfer saga, with the Reds first attempting to sign the 25-year-old during the January transfer window.
It was an open secret that Adam would move to Anfield this summer, it was just a question of agreeing a fee which satisfied Blackpool and – in particular – the chairman Karl Oyston.
With Pool set to depart for a nine-day training camp in Portugal tomorrow, both parties stepped up their efforts to push the move through.
The deal was hammered out in principal at a meeting on Tuesday evening, with the final details agreed yesterday morning. Just after midday, Adam was told to drive to Merseyside for a medical.
He was met at Liverpool’s academy by manager Kenny Dalglish, who personally drove Adam to the Reds’ Melwood training ground for a thorough medical.
The Seasiders are staying tight-lipped over any details, though The Gazette understands that Liverpool have paid around £7m for the midfielder – half a million more than their top offer in January – and that no Liverpool players are involved in the deal.
However, the Seasiders could sign two Reds youngsters on permanent terms in separate deals, though speculation that Stephen Darby, Jonjo Shelvey or Danny Wilson could move to Bloomfield Road on loan is wide of the mark.
Neither chairman Oyston nor manager Ian Holloway was available for interview last night.
The club’s website ran only this brief statement: “Blackpool Football Club can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Liverpool for the transfer of skipper Charlie Adam.
“The 25-year-old has now been granted permission to discuss personal terms with the club and have a medical.”
Adam won’t have long to dwell on his move. In a few days he will join his new team-mates as they jet off on a tour of Asia.
He can expect to make his debut against Guangdong in what will be the club’s first ever game in China.
Liverpool then take on Malaysia before returning to England to play Hull – ironically the Seasiders’ first Championship opponents. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
