    Our Women team

    So what about it?

I think that FSG should invest a few millions and make them a top club challenging for the English title and the CL. When they bought the club they also bought our Women team.

They just can give a **** about it.

I also think that it would be good marketing and more female fans would buy merchandise etc.

I know that most you think Women football stinks but I don't agree. You can see many very competitive and excellent games involving excellent players.

Lets give our Women team a chance to show what they can do. Time for FSG to invest a few millions and make them a top club.

Now I have said it. feel free to laugh about it and make fun of me but it is still my opinion. I think they should invest a few millions.

I think we've more pressing issues than our woman's team at the moment.

I'd rather they invested every spare penny they had into LFC..
How will spending millions into the womens team help us win the Premiership?

No, do we really need to focus on this. Most of the football supporting women I know don't really care about Female football. Cant see how it would sell more merchandise

No-one gives a **** about Womens football in this country maybe apart from pre-pubescent boys who like watching women run around but can't quite understand why
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

We pay Gerrard £150k a week and invest big money to win the PL and CL. We pay our male players top class money.

I think FSG should be able to afford to invest say £10m a year into our Women team. No fantasy money as you can see.

It wouldn't cost fantasy money to make out Women team to one of the best ones out there.

The top class players wouldn't cost fantasy money to sign and they wouldn't cost fantasy money in wages either.

It is an invest FSG should be able to afford without any problem at all without if affecting our male team.

I was thinking a couple of mill would do it, and be more than enough, ****s sake Arn, 50mill over 5yrs, no way!

Ok, buy an Aguero over 5yrs, or..have a good womans team ? Which would bring us more publicity and be good for the clubs image ?

But why though? Why bother? We cant win with the Men's team so why turn our focus to women. Leave it to Arsenal and Charlton.

You can change that view. Hard work yes, difficult job yes but you can still change it and that view should be changed because IMO it stinks big time.

If someone make fun about women just because they are women then I would just shake my head and wonder what kind of idiot that person is.

Sorry but that is my opinion.

But what does that opinion have to do with women's football being ****?

How the **** could we spend 10m a year on a big girls team anyway, even if we wanted to?

                            Women's football is bang average.

£10m Arn? TEN million pounds sterling?

It would take a lifetime to see a return on the investment ... and still nobody would care.

I think £10m a year is fantasy money for a sport where at present there are no financial returns at a point in our clubs history when we need substantial investment in the main part of the business.

I'm pretty sure that several other clubs or their backers have reduced their input into the womens game (IIRC Arsenal, Fulham and Charlton have all done this semi-recently). Why would we want to pump cash in now?

I agree that in the long run their might actually be some point in investment. The standards of womens football have improved a lot and the world cup in Germany at least garnered substantial local attention and you could imagine there being some sort of growable market in the US. We are in no way in a position to push this on our own or realistically at this point at all.
