Aquilani's personal terms yet to be sorted. Imagine Milan will want to work extension option. BTW, his apps, last 5 yrs: 34,26,18,30,21

Is there some loan fee as well as the proposed £7m fee if he plays 25 or more games? As there should be, something around a couple of million would be about right IMO and if we sold him that would swell the fee to a decent level.

I accidentally put this post iin the wrong thread but speculations are that deal to AC Milan will look like this:

                  -first year loan free

-Milan pays 2.5m of his wages, liverpool pay 1.5m.

-Option to buy for 6m spread over 3 years

                  -2.5m/year contract if purchased.

-Mandatory purchase if he makes 25 appearances

                  -Payment starts on June 2012

What a ****ty deal if true

                      That's a crap deal.

IMO there should always be a loan fee associated with these types of deal, so if they choose not to take up the option to buy we at least get something, and 6m spread over 3 years, if they're getting him for that price we should get the cash straight away.

They are making us look like idiots. We will be covering almost 40% of his wages while he is on a loan with them, there is no guarantee that they will sign him permanently and if they do they will spread piss take of the evaluation over the 3 years

I really wish we had balls and tell them to **** off and don't come back with something more reasonable like a permanent deal for £10m right now or they should look elsewhere.

We shouldn't be in desperate hurry to let him move regardless if Aquilani prefers to move back to Italy.

I guess if the deal goes ahead we will be £8.5m better off (£6m from the fee and 2.5m we don't have to pay in wages) But FFS for £6m can't they just buy him now and end this saga. £6m is a bargain.

BTW what happened to Aquilani only wanting to move on a permanent deal, as far as I can tell this isn't much different to the Fiorentina deal he rejected.

Bet he plays exactly 24 games and is never seen in a Milan shirt again

                                Almost certainly.

It's a completely **** deal for us (if the breakdown above is correct). At the very, very least they should be covering his entire wages.

What a shambolic transfer from start to finish.
