That's fair enough, can't disagree too much with anything you said.

Was just pointing out that during that particular game they both impressed individually and collectively, much better than either up top alone and I was disappointed not to see it tried again (although maybe it was and we lost, hence me not remembering. ).

Yeah, it was an intertesting match report to read, but really can't recall much of the game - equally I can't remember other games with a Kuyt/Wash partnership. I know it's a luxury, but I want pace and an ability to finish (even if a little raw) to come off the bench when we are in need of a goal, so perhaps I can be a little harsh on Wash sometimes.

You would imagine that this would be similar to the team we'll play on the opening day, perhaps a couple of changes when other players get fit (Lucas, Suarez & Gerrard) but it's interesting that Aquilani is starting
