Has there ever been a worse collection of absolute ****e to play in the same team at Liverpool FC?

I can remember the dark days when we had Nicky Tanner and Trevor Storton as twin centre-backs. All the players you list are like Pele and Maradona combined in comparison

Lampard has 5 goals and 4 assists already in the prem this season that's 2 less goals and 2 more assists than our entire strike force - he's consistently one of the highest scoring players over the last 3 seasons so my guess is Murphy would take that comparison as a compliment.

I always rated Danny Murphy, good technical player who gave 100% and got us crucial goals from midfield not least a few winners against the Scum.
Also got Player of the Year for us once, certainly not a bad player, not by any means.

I remember 1 game away to Chelsea (I think we lost 4-2) Carter came on at half time as sub, lasted about 20 mins... and then got subbed. Classic

This is ****ing dull, been done to death and history. Slag Houllier and his squad all you like but it was that squad that won us our 5th European cup so no matter what anybody thinks of any of them they have a place in LFC's glorious history - unlike Rashid.
