Smicer repaid all the injuries and being played out of position with 2 goals in a CL final, scored a late winner against the chav's and was a good profesional

Murphy always tried his best never went missing and had a habit of winning games at old toilet.

Biscan, will be a favorite, not for ability but for being Biscan. And lets not forget his performance in the CL. We need players like Biscan in the game it makes it more interesting.

And last Traore, had the abilty to tackle, granted he often caused the situation.

Look if you're going to bash anyone's signings, what they were subsequently sold on for is not the best indicator is it?

The very fact that a player has been sold by a big club almost always means he is just not needed/wanted any more and so his value is bound to be less than impressive. I suppose you would be lauding Houllier's signings if he had sold on the signings that worked out well for big money? The way to judge a manager's ability in the transfer market is through how he spent and what return he got quality-wise for that money.
