Post Match: Liverpool vs Bolton 27-8-11

Fantastic performance. In our previous games we showed glimpses of the type of football we're capable of playing, but today we managed to sustain it. If we can keep this up, we're going to be up near the top come the end of the season.

Positives
+ Suarez. Again. Just pure, pure class. Messi aside, is there a better player around at the moment?
+ Henderson improved his performace big time today. He really should have played Suarez in when he had all the time in the world. Still, a massive step in the right direction.
+ Lucas was fantastic. I don't think he put a foot wrong all game! Such an important player for us, it's nice to seem return to form so emphatically.
+ Our all round play was terrific.
+ We've got Steven Gerrard to come back into the team...

Negatives
- That backpass that wasn't given has got to be the worst decision I have ever seen in football. It was so, so blatent I really have no idea how it wasn't given. Completely baffling.
- Kelly injured. Kelly is ****ing awesome - he's got to be our most promising youngster since Steven Gerrard. But I'm worried about his injury record. He just doesn't seem capable of staying injury free. I really hope they manage to sort him out, because he could well go on to become a legend.

Even though he is very young it seems that he may struggle with injuries.

He had so many of them since he moved to the first team.

Luckily for us in terms of injuries will have the week off but it terms of momentum this cannot be the worse possible time.

Excellent performance and a well deserved win. Our movement upfront was superb, which was complemented by a hard working midfield. The whole team played really well. Special mention for Daniel Agger – we look much more composed when he’s in the team.

Also this may be forgotten given the result/performance but I'm gutted Kelly got injured.

Excellent performance - Kuyt best of the lot for me. Only genuine concern is in the first half Downing and Henderson both came too narrow (at the same time) and a better team would have made us lose possession a lot more.

Until the last minute or so the defensive unit was exceptional and barely gave Bolton a sniff.

A ****ing joy to watch!

Much improved from Henderson. Really good. Came inside too often and too far in the 1st half, better teams will take advantage of that. Looks like he wants to play in the middle but his delivery from out wide is superb.

Run out of things to say about Suarez, he's the best player in the league by a mile.

Even Skrtel was excellent at right back, Downing really good again, Lucas fantastic as usual.

To think we still have Gerrard to come back into this team.
